Angie Anyone else looking forward to this coming out on October 6th? I thought it's release date was June? Did it get pushed back?

Jaz | 56 comments I hadn't even heard of it until you posted this. Thanks for posting by the way.

The link didn't work for me but I had no trouble finding it on Amazon.com.

It's a graphic novel! I'm so thrilled!

Early Christmas present for moi? Oh hell yeah, you bet!

Angie I wonder... is Brooks the illustrator?

message 6: by Natalie (new)

Natalie (ghostinmarble) It got pushed back? :( I was really looking forward to getting this.

Josh | 1 comments Not only did it get pushed back but its original release date was Dec. 12 of 2008, then March, then June, and now october. Shame, I've been waitin' on this one for a while

message 8: by Gaston (new)

Gaston | 1 comments Here's my question, are these all new stories?? Or is it a collage of what was in "Survival Guide" and "World War Z"??

message 9: by Angie (new)

Angie I have been to Brook's website and can't find much info on the book there.

message 10: by Angie (new)

Angie What does that group have to do with the book in this topic? Or for that matter about zombies?

message 11: by Natalie (new)

Natalie (ghostinmarble) From the discussion linked by the kiddie spammer:

"I have been having fun! I have been going 2 random groups and joining them and posting a link 2 this group. Then I leave the group! One member of a group told the mod to spam me! HA HA! I am having fun!"

So....nothing.

message 12: by Jill (new)

Jill (wanderingrogue) | 10 comments Yeah, she spammed a couple of other ones I'm in too. It's sad when kids on a website about books can't think of anything better with which to occupy their time.

message 13: by Angie (new)

Angie Well I flagged them myself. I've tried to join groups about video games for example and can't seem to find a mature audience.

Randy | 36 comments @ Angie:

Video games and mature audiences don't really go well together. Trust me. I'm the most immature 35 year old you've never met.

message 15: by Angie (new)

Angie HA! That's funny.
I've tried to join groups on here to talk about them... and it's a bunch of kids (no offense) and they just talk about who knows what! Check it:

Christen | 41 comments For those of you who have bought this, is it the same stories from Brooks' Survival Guide?

message 17: by Steve (new)

Steve Chaput (stevec50) | 139 comments I want to my use Border's gift card to pick this up. Loved both World War Z and the Survival Guide.

I keep seeing it promoted, but haven't seen a copy in a store yet.

wow thank u for showing me the most airheaded discussion ever. No really thank you it provided amusement

message 19: by Jaime (new)

Jaime (thedigitaldm75) It is a well executed graphic novel with above average artwork. The stories are of the same type as those told in World War Z, though they span throughout the history of the world. Think of them as historical zombie attacks.

I really enjoyed it, and found myself immediately re-reading it just to enjoy the artwork again. If you like Brooks' other books, and/or if you are a fan of zombie comics then I would highly recommend this for you.
