Bridgitte (littletart) Hello everyone! I'm Bridgitte and I am new to Goodreads. This summer I am trying to get caught up on some classic Sci-Fi, such as J.G. Ballard's works, finish "The 9 Princes In Amber" series, and the final Riverworld book as well as others. Any suggestions on 1960s or 1970s Sci-Fi that I should be checking out?

Stephen North (stephenanorth) | 2 comments Hi Bridgitte! You've found some of the great ones there. I loved the Amber series. Off the top of my head, I'd suggest Keith Laumer. Poul Anderson is another good choice.

Rita Webb (ritawebb) Is Orson Scott Card from the 70's or the 80's? I have read several of Card's books and love all of them. Even if he isn't from the 70's, I recommend him.

Jim (jimmaclachlan) This Immortal & Lord of Light both by Roger Zelazny
The Einstein Intersection by Samuel R. Delany
All three won awards in the 60's & 70's. They're also my favorite books of all time. I re-read them every decade or so. I just finished re-reading the last one. I get something different out of it each time.
