We are going through my grandma's things preparing for her to go into assisted living. She has so many towels and bedding that she cannot use it all,and while a lot of is useable, it is not all that great. Too good to throw away, not good enough for charity.
I found out that my local animal shelter will take them, in good condition or not. They need the blankets for bedding and the towels for washing.
So the next time you clean out your linen closet, call you local animal shelter and see if they can use your old items.
