Buddy Reading Galore discussion

What's the book/ or series that got you into reading?

For me it had to be in sixth grade with the warrior series by Erin Hunter. Even before that with the Seekers series, also by the same author. I found myself loving the books and wanting to read more. They're also the books that got my friend into reading as well =)

I'd have to say The story sort of opened my eyes to what books can offer.

I never read that series The Warrior..

I started reading in seventh grade and it was the Percy Jackson series and Hush Hush, Crescendo, and Silence. But, I didn't like reading anything besides those books. Then winter break was going to arrive and I decided that I might as well read. My teacher has this huge personal classroom library and I checked out the whole entire Immortals series. My teacher got excited and handed me City of Bones, City of Ashes, City of Glass, and City of Fallen Angels. But if I'd decide which book really made me want to read and like reading, it was Hush Hush.
