No, so far we don't really hear from her. She is talked about but that is it.

I went to Build a Bear and Gwenn made me a My Little Pony. It's awesome! Although, FYI, that joint is expensive.

I've always wanted to go to Build a Bear. My two oldest kids have both been there on school trips.

Did they talk about Olivia's mom at all in the last book? I don't remember her being mentioned. I stopped at chapter 6 for right now.

Olivia and Ginger talked about her. We didn't meet her in the last book.

read the first six. this one's not doing it for me. it's steamy, but the rest is fairly meh (so far). I also found a few of the lines kinda offensive

Yeah, I was kind of surprised that we are already into chapter 6 and nothing has really happened. I mean the thing with Marissa, but we aren't really made a part of that.

It gets better but I will admit I did like it as much as the first.

There wasn't enough banter in this one.

the "ace" @ the end of today's chapters made me HATE Cash 's father. and doubt the whole plot.

Cash's father is an ass but I guess he thought he was protecting his family.

This is okay (hopefully starting to get good now) but I don't like it as well as the first one. There's just not enough action yet. I might read more later. I was surprised by the "ace." Remember how I had mentioned reading a spoiler (I thought would happen in book 1 but didn't)...now I can see how it will happen. I'll comment more upon that when it actually happens - I'm guessing not until closer to the end.

And they almost make Marissa seem unimportant. I know they didn't like her, but she's being held captive - you would think they would at least be a little worried for her.

Maybe they thought it would be more like The Ransom of Red Chief where the kidnappers pay the them to take her back. LOL

Right?> I thought that they were both acting pretty callous, not to mention careless.
Maybe it's just because I am used to guys like Vlad or Bones, but Cash's protective instincts left me wanting. Not only of Olivia, but of the info, his dad, etc. ..
I haven't read today's yet, and I might not get to it until tomorrow due to company and work. But I'll catch up again tomorrow. To the schedule anyways. Have you finished it too, Sheri?

I am behind but read last night up to chapter 6. It ended with steamy at the hotel. I think Cash it so sweet with her. I am wondering if Taryn has much to do with the storyline. I have been reading In Bed With A Highlander too. I have found it hard to tear myself away for that one.

No. I've read through chapter 12. I'm also reading and it's holding my attention better. I probably won't have time for today's reading until tonight. I'll post when I do.

I just bought In Bed with a Highlander.

I loved that book and picked up the next in the series.

It's a Tracfone (sp?). Basically they use it once or twice and then toss it so it can't be traced.

Being Me /does/ look good.

It was. Finished last night (Being Me). It wasn't quite as good as the first one in the trilogy, but I think I have that problem a lot - love the first book, the next ones don't ever quite live up.
