Crow's Row discussion

I'm so lost at the moment when looking for books. Crow's row has totally knocked me flat on my face :( no books come close and I cant seem to finish a book because its nowhere near as good lol the only book iv really enjoyed since is killing sarai and I can't really complain there. It was fantastic but it only made me what to read more books with a simler story line.....please help if you can :) thanks

I have not read Crow's Row but it is on my TBR shelf. However, I have read Killing Sarai - and really loved that book. Have you read the Consequences series by Aleatha Romig? The Undeniable series by Madeline Sheehan is good as well. There are several others I can recommend if you have read these. :)

If you loved Crows Row you'll love Sempre by JM Darhower, this mafia based as well.

I am a readaholic as well! After reading Killing Sarai, I dove into some pretty dark reads that I loved. Let me know what you are wanting to read and I can recommend a few others. BTW - I am starting Crow's Row tonight! :)

Julie, I think that is why it has been on my TBR shelf for awhile because I did not want to wait for the 2nd book for too long!! :( I am giving in though and reading it tonight..........

LOL I know it is such a pain waiting so long, but honestly it is a page turner and the second will be fantastic, you just don't want the book to end, so we will have to suffer a little, let me know what you think of it Mo :)

You will not regret it.... I'm kind of jealous haha I'd love to be starting the book and not already know what's going to happen in the end lol. But yes I'm kind of in to dark stuff at the minute as well

Second crow's row is going to be out before the end of the year according to the author :)

Keeley if you can handle dark, I absolutely have to recommend The Tied Man. It will break your heart a million times, but it is one of the best books I have read this summer. I especially loved that instead of a male hero, it is a Kick A female. I have to admit, several pages freaked me out a bit(hang in there),but the story is amazing. If you can get through it, you will be glad you did.

I'm really looking forward to the second book of Crows Row, there is so many fab storylines you could go with, No spoilers Mo, you'll have to tuck into the book lol.

I think I already know what's going to happen in the second book but I'm still rattling for it haha can not wait.

Ok, Seriously Keeley and Julie?!?!?!?! I just finished the book. I knew I should have waited to read this! Now I can't wait for the 2nd book!!! I have to admit, it was slow for me in the beginning and Emily did wear me out a bit. But once it grabbed me, I was in. I hope Emily is a bad ass in the next book. :)

Iv just started the tied man. Only on chapter 7 at the min and its boring me a little... But all the comments on this book says it a crap first half and an epic second half so I'm going to stick with it lol

I think she's pregnant! Second book says she's hiding something that could get them both killed. In the first book it never mentioned them using protection when they had sex. But ye I hope she gets to kick some ass lol

OMG - YES, that would be a great plot! I am trying to figure out how she is going to forgive Cameron. All of this and being left alone is bound to make her hard around the edges.

God ye I'd do them all a faves and shoot him my self if I was her or shoot him in the foot or something lol

Julie has got so many options she can choose i'm sure whatever the storyline it will be great.

This is the blurb for the second crow's row book, I got it from her Facebook page. O and it was over a month ago that she put this as her status :)

Okay, so I might as well share this with everyone...this is the blurb I wrote to describe Scare Crow (still no publish date). Obviously the publisher will be totally re-writing it, but just wanted to give you my version of what Scare Crow will be about...

"Mob king, Cameron Hillard has abandoned Emily “Emmy” Sheppard, for her own good, so that she can live a long and peaceful life. Now Emmy is grieving Cameron’s death, or at least his fictional death. She has been beaten up and spit out of his underworld, and is expected to move on with her charmed life as though nothing happened. As though her world hadn’t just been turned on its head and spun into a deep woven mess.

While Cameron miserably tries to go back to what is left of his life and unfurl the mess he has made of the underworld, Emmy is holding onto a secret - one that in the wrong hands could get her killed, and take the one and only thing that she loves from her. She needs to kill the mob kingpins responsible for Cameron’s death before they come looking for her.

Cameron has no idea of the danger he has placed Emmy in and that it may already be too late for him to save her."

Did you read ELITE by Rachel Van Dyken it's a good book not as much as crow's row but i enjoyed it

I don't really know How i feel about Elite...It was really good but when the love triangle come into it, it kind of ruined it for me :( can't stand books with triangles. but then there where loads of really good parts, loved the bit when she MOO'S.... haha that was brilliant :) the story was diffrent which made it a good read and even though it has a triangle I need to read the next book lol i need to know what happens lmao thanks for recommending the book and if you can think of any more :)

i actually thought the same abt trace and chase relationship it sort of came out of the blue and i read a spoiler of book 2 and was really annoyed i m gonna wait and see how it's gonna go :)

Ye I read the spoiler that's what pissed me off the most.. How can u be inlove with some one and fall inlove with someone els with in 3 weeks? I don't have an exact date but...for the first time ever, I have been provided with a month for Scare Crow to come out of hiding and into your hands! DECEMBER! DECEMBER! DECEMBER!!!!!!!!!!!! Obviously this is IF everything goes perfectly, as planned. I still have not yet seen the edits but the minute I get them, I promise to drop everything including the babies to get it all done as fast as I possibly can. I know y'all have been frustrated with how long it is taking me to get Scare Crow out. Know that I feel horrible about this and it weighs heavily on my mind. I really appreciate your patience with me as I work to make Scare Crow the best that it can be. DECEMBER!!!!!!!!
