namericanwordcat | 242 comments Again, my love affair with The Chocolate Kiss (Amour et Chocolat #2) by Laura Florand and its amazing Rapunzel retell with some other stories woven in spawned a craving.

Paganalexandria | 354 comments I really loved Eve Vaughn's redo of the Beauty and the Beast Mistress to the Beast by Eve Vaughn .

Oleander | 55 comments This is an excellent take on the Beauty and the Beast theme Lair of the Lion by Christine Feehan

I bought this book about 5 months ago (when I was obsessed with Christine Feehan) and haven't gotten around to reading it yet.

L (lucy1671) | 16 comments How about Kate SeRine? Her books are not a reselling but are about fairy tale characters, fun reads. I enjoyed the first 2 books. Red is about Little Red Riding Hood and Better to See You is about Cinderella's fairy god mother and the Big Bad Wolf.

Paganalexandria | 354 comments I forgot this old school Linda Jones' Cinderfella by Linda Jones . I remember it being really cute and the first time reading a virgin hero.

✿ Natalie ✿ | 428 comments Juliet Marillier's Daughter if the Forest is a take on/re-telling of the Six Swans fairytale which I'd definately recommend Daughter of the Forest (Sevenwaters, #1) by Juliet Marillier ...this book is absolutely beautiful, so well-written. I love it and it's certainly one of my favourite books not just Fairytale re-tellings!

Agreed! It's a must read!

Daughter of the Forest was beautiful and sad.

✿ Natalie ✿ | 428 comments I recently read both these grown up fairytale retellings and enjoyed them both very much. Both have darker hero's and capable heroines.

Cinderella - Ember by Bettie Sharpe

Beauty and the Beast - The beastly Tales by MJ Haag beginning with Deceit

message 17: by Willow (new)

Willow Madison | 31 comments I added this one to the list. It's a modern day, loose retell of Beauty/Beast. Warning: Not so much a cliffhanger ending as just a promise of a continuation, book 2 and 3 have no release dates.

A Bedtime Story (A Bedtime Story Trilogy, #1) by L.C. Moon

Willow Madison | 31 comments Your welcome, Natalie. Just don't blame me when you end up stalking L.C. for the next book ;)
