Andrea Please post on pages 0-250 only.

For people going by chapters this is approximately chapter I - XXVII or 1 - 27

Ellen Librarian (ellenlibrarian) | 172 comments It seems like this is basically a set up for the rest of the book, which is striking in that the events here would normally be an entire book on its own, rather than just a beginning.

I haven't read much past here so I'm looking forward to seeing what Dantes does and how he does it.

Andrea I am about 60 pages past this so I want to be careful not to give away anything but this point is where I felt things really picked up and the story became interesting to be. I was having a hard time reading the book and kept putting it ddown or falling asleep after just a few pages. Now I find myself reading bit chunks at a time and looking forward to when I can find some time to read more!

JoLene (trvl2mtns) I was pleasantly surprised that the book was pretty read-able --- although since I knew that my husband had read when he was younger, I knew that it was probably action-packed.
