MsAjay (Ms. Undercover Geek) | 28 comments Don't get me wrong I do want to read about Lanthe and Thronos but Monroe was in the cliffhanger...not feeling that..

message 9: by Namita (new)

Namita (-namita) I hear you. Leaving us hanging. Feel like pulling my hair out!!!

message 10: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Sapp (wwwgoodreadscomjessica_sapp) | 28 comments True, MsAjay...however, in Demon From the Dark, two books before Macrieve, we were left with knowledge that Lanthe was taken by Thronos on the island. So that cliffhanger has been hanging awhile... But I do want Munro's book soon! Kresley can't pop them out fast enough! We're such greedy readers. :)

MsAjay (Ms. Undercover Geek) | 28 comments Wow Jess..you are right. I forgot about that..okay..my outlook had officially changed..thanks :-)

message 12: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (originally_elle) Ive been waiting for their story since we caught a glimpse of their beginning in Sabine's story. But the story Im most anxious for is Nix's!

message 13: by Jessica (new)

Jessica Sapp (wwwgoodreadscomjessica_sapp) | 28 comments MsAjay...she likes to tease us and leave us waiting for awhile. Yet we love her for it. :)

I wouldn't be too excited for a Nïx story since she's the end of IAD... Luckily, Kresley has said that her story isn't even in sight which means more IAD for us devour! Yay! But, when the time for Nïx's story finally hits shelves, I will be ever too thrilled! No doubt it'll be absolutely amazing (as everything Kresley writes always is)! :)

message 14: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (originally_elle) Oh I know Ive still got a while yet before Nix and Thronos & Lanthe is more then enough to hold me over!

My thoughts exactly.

Although I've been wanting Lanthe's story since Kiss of a Demon King.

Jessica Sapp (wwwgoodreadscomjessica_sapp) | 28 comments Ditto, Ellen! I knee they would get a story after reading about their history, I just didn't know when. But I can't wait to read!

message 17: by Susan (new)

Susan This has me hoping to see more of Trehan, since he knows how to get to Thronos's stronghold.

I LOVE Trehan!

Namita (-namita) Me too. Love Trehan. My fave in IAD!!

message 21: by Sam (new)

Sam | 6 comments Thanks for the info! I've been waiting for ages for those two! I'm so curious how Kresley Cole can turn the years-long animosity into a spicy romance story! (not to mention be a HEA). Or maybe there are a lot of story in the past that she did not mentioned in Kiss a Demon King. Sure hope so. I. NEED. MY. IAD. FIX. NOW. :D

Nette | 77 comments Does Thronos heal from his injuries? He's described as limping since their first confrontation in Sabine's book. But in Regin's book he was pretty mobile.

One of his wings and a foot are described as permanently injured. But over the centuries he's probably learned how to move fast despite his disability. It's the Lore and he's still alive, a Vrekener who can't fly; he's pretty badass.

Yeah, he sound pretty badass.

Do you think he's still in love with her or is it just an obsession to avenge himself from the injuries she caused him? I think he's obsessed (in love) with her.

I think he thinks its a revenge obsession, for sure and they were pretty young when she crippled him for life and Sabine killed his dad.

Plus, who knows what his mother/guardian was like?

I hadn't thought about his mother/guardian having a part in his part. Great thought there! Not sure if he'd punish her about the death of his father being that he(Thronos's father) did kill her parents. Tit for tat goes into play. But the crippling part will have hell to pay...lol Or LOVE to make!

Just think about Bowen and Mariketa... They practically left each other to die and yet he still" Melts her butter"...lol

Well I figured whoever raised him after he was crippled may have cared for him or punished him for his "failure" and raised him to get revenge on Sorceri, specifically Lanthe and Sabine.

And to be fair it's not like they're goody-goodys.

No, they're not goody goody but they and their parents were hunted by Thronos's people if I remember correctly, right? Lanthe's parents were killed while in bed, right? So, they need a little slack. They became parentless, on the run for their lives until eventually ending up poisoned and controlled by a incestuous brother, right?
