Closely related to that series (although it works as a stand alone too) is Jeaniene Frost's Night Prince series - the first book is Once Burned. Also narrated by Tavia Gilbert.
Of course, J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series is immensely popular with the third in that series, Lover Awakened, winning readers (and listeners) awards all over the place. However, I'd start with Book 1, Dark Lover. The first five need to be read in order. Jim Frangione narrates and it took me a bit to get used to him as he reads more than performs. But you can still follow who is talking (weird) and I totally enjoy his narrations now.
Not a real romance but some of the most entertaining vampire audios out there are those in Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse series starting with Dead Until Dark. Sookie has a number of boyfriends over the series of 13 books. Narrator Johanna Parker is marvelous. Don't think HBO's True Love when you are considering this series. The audio experience is a totally unique one.
Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series is a combination of it all including angels. Justine Eyre does a good job narrating. Unfortunately, I can't listen to her other narrations now without envisioning this series. Angels' Blood is the first in that series.
I'm generally not a big fan of vampires and werewolves but I do have a few series I just love and relisten to. But we have many members here who live and breath these paranormals. Hope they chip in and recommend!
I am moving this thread to Audiobook Discussions where it will get more attention.

Lynsay Sand's Argeneau Vampire Series is a really great series with a great sense of humor. The first book is A Quick Bite. The series has a lot of different narrators.
Dianne Duvall's Immortal Guardians is a unique series about vampire-like Immortals. The first book in the series is Darkness Dawns. The 4th book Darkness Rises comes out October 1st, 2013.
Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter and Were Hunter series is almost a must in the vampire/shifter genre. The first book is Fantasy Lover. Again, this series has different narrators. My favorite is Holter Graham.
Lara Adrian's Midnight Breed series has a darker feeling. The series starts with Kiss of Midnight and is narrated by Hillary Huber.
Nalini Singh. Lea has already mentioned her. Nalini Singh writes the Psy-Changeling series. In my opinion the best shifter series. The first book is Slave to Sensation. The series is narrated by Angela Dawe. I don't like her reading, but the books are just great!
Thea Harrison's Elder Races is a series about a lot of different shifters. The series starts with Dragon Bound. The series is narrated by Sophie Eastlake.

Thanks, Gabriella,
I had forgotten about the dragon shape-shifters. I came across one series by Susan Wright.
Feral Sins
I wonder if this one is any good.
Did you listen to all the books in Dianne's series?

I haven't read Feral Sins, so I can't say if it's good or not. Sorry.
I've only listened to Phantom Shadows the 3rd book in Dianne's series, when it became available in Germany. And it's still the only one available around here. :(
I loved Phantom Shadows.

Kathy... The storyline in

I've re-listened twice because I love the over the top possessive alpha hero (and smart mouthed heroine) storyline and the narration is spot on but I skip the sex - I need my ear drums. ;)
A couple more recommendations that fall under your requirements are Patricia Briggs' Alpha and Omega series narrated by Holter Graham and Ilona Andrews' Edge series narrated by Renee Raudman.

Wright will give you paranormal - raunchy sex talk / acts - and a narrator who delivers over the top hero - heroine perfectly...
I'd work both into my listens - variety is the spice of life. ;)

The Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews, narrated by Renee Raudman. The first in the series is "Magic Bites." I first read these books, then listen to them - they're great and the narrator excels at bringing out the dry humor.
The "Mercy Thompson" and "Alpha and Omega" series by Patricia Briggs. "Moon Called" and "Cry Wolf" are the first in these series, respectively. I really enjoy Patricia Brigg's writing - her earlier works are fantasy and are also good as audiobooks.
And I second the Sookie Stackhouse Southern Vampire Series by Charlaine Harris. They're fun books to read, but the narrator, Johanna Parker, is so excellent that she brings much more to the stories. "Dead until Dark" is the first in that series.

There are 3 books in the series. I think there is a new one coming out soon.
