I already bought the book. LOL I figure when I retire and have NOTHING to do but read, I'll re-read all my books because I won't remember ANY of them! LOL

Yes it is running out but seriously I just don't have anymore reading time available! I feel terrible esp cuz I was the one who wanted the read, but i can't read it any earlier. I may just return it to the library and put it back on hold again...

Lisa, how we read it is normally decided just by us. You can come back anytime and post. If you post spoilers, just be sure to hide them
and just be sure to mark how far you are in the book (which chapter) for your comments so we know when to read them!

Hmmm...based on the incredible cover, I'm not sure what I expected but...I love the story so far

Judith (view spoiler)[ my goodness...he hid her, he tortured her. She said he didn't....hurt her like that....I wonder what happened in that house and why. Did he just keep her to stop her from saying what she'd seen. That the father killed her friend. And why did he do that?? (hide spoiler)]

I agree about the cover.... that paired with not having read anything about the book before hand threw me for a bit. I am actually almost finished with the book. Definate twists and turns... (Are their directions somewhere on how to hide spoilers?)

I wondered some of the same things about Lucas! Was not sure I liked his character. (view spoiler)[ He seems like kind of a creep.... wondering why -if they did have a relationship of some kind-friendship-he would ignore her/ be with someone else etc.> (hide spoiler)]

She is talking in her head. But the "you" she keeps saying is Lucas. :)

Ah, okay. I thought she was talking in her head cuz it just sounded that way, but then she specifically addressed Lucas. Most of her internal thoughts are directed to Lucas then. Okay. :)

and wow, this book is very very very good so far.

but she's so right! She's much safer if they believe she is dim. If they don't believe she can talk or think straight. She is so much safer. I fear for her. (hide spoiler)]
