And it looks like the Fool has out smarted everyone. I knew he was already there.
Interesting that there is a lot more to the Wit than bonding or repelling. Fitz needs lessons from Web

And we know how the Forged ones were made now. There souls trapped in the memory stones in an attempt to make dragons like the Six Duchies had. Ugghh.

Their reaction to Henja is quite scary.
So Henja came by herself from Buckkeep to here. Did the fool accompany her?

I'm not sure what Nettle knows... Fitz thinks Nettle knows he is her father, but I think Fitz might be mis-interpreting that. When Nettle says that "Papa will kill the dragon" (or whatever the quote is i didn't write that down), i don't think she means Fitz. It's too familiar a name to call the father you didn't know you had, i think she means Burrich is on his way, somehow.

That is a very good point. Everything we think we know or Fitz thinks he knows is assumed from an interpretation of Thick's POV. Talk about unrteliable narrator
oh yes, now he have unreliability to the second degree! remember the telephone game I'm sure all of us played at one point in our lives
ch14 - and we have a coterie, and finally Nettle is really in the game. if only she'd start talking to fitz again.
David Sven wrote: "Ch15 - Hmmm...the Black man sounds like another Catalyst. Perhaps he is the Pale Lady's Catalyst? The Fool sees him as the opposite of a forged one - maybe he is a repository for memories as well??..."
Yes, I agree... and I don't.
He definitely sounds like a catalyst but then the stories are going so far back, he really can't be. The Pale Lady is older than the Fool and who knows how long she's already had her Catalyst, but it still sounds doubtful.
On the other hand, it sounds like it and it's the best explanation we have right now. If only we knew why he likes honey :)

Good news for the Fool there, maybe - a preface about a white prophet getting it completely wrong for a chapter about the Fool being certain of his own death.
[On the other hand, the continued gittishness of Hoquin doesn't bolster my faith in the moral goodness of White Prophets in general...]
