I read this recently, and I really didn't like Rose. I liked the ending, but I felt like it was too late in the book (like, the last 50 pages) and too brief. I don't know, is it worth continuing with the series?

I had mixed feelings with the Vampire Academy series, but overall I really enjoyed it....

the first book didn't really impressed me. the second book and onwards made me hooked.

I love VA! The first book is my fourth favorite book in the series. The beginning was ok but it got really good once Lissa and Rose were brought back to St. Vladimir's Academy! And I love Christian in this book... and all the other books too. :) I am excited for the VA movie. I don't like the people who were cast that much though. And I'm worried that it's going to be a cheeses vampire movie. I don't want the series to be ruined for me (sort of like Percy Jackson).

I loved this book! It was really good....the concept seemed kinda kiddish at some places and Rose was a disappointing YA heroine....I expected a lot of her, but didn't like her much. And of course....I'm team DIMITRI!!!

It was always Rose and Dimitri :)

I finished this book yesterday and I give it a 3/5 stars!

I really enjoyed the writing style and funny characters, but there were too many flashbacks and stuff to properly develop. The book is 330-something pages, and only the last 50 were really an adrenaline rush. Don't get me wrong I enjoyed the book, but it was a bit over-hyped

Just wait until you read the rest of the series! The first two books are good and pleasant. And then it goes so uphill from the third book onwards!

I LOVED THIS! I swear I read all 6 like last week, never stopped reading. They were great! Movie's on the 14th!

I liked it.

It was absolutely per-fect. It's definitely one of my favorite book series. I loved Adrian, well actually I loved all characters.

I ust finished this last night and I liked it, the vampire theme is so interesting and I will definitely read Frostbite sooner or later.

I'm reading the book right now and I saw the movie a few days ago. The movie was good

Only read the first two... It kinda went downhill after the first :-/ Me likey Bloodlines much better

I didn't like Bloodlines at all...Sydney seemed a not-good-at-all female protagonist.

I didnt think Bloodlines was all that great at first either but after the plot took a little twist called Sydrian, I was fangirling all the way.

I loved the VA series right off the bat although I felt it got a bit slow in Blood Promise. But I am so glad I stayed with it all the way. After I read Last Sacrifice, my life was complete *wipes tear*.

I have the book I just haven't read it yet. It looks like a really great book and I would LOVE to see the movie!!

I just started reading Vampire Academy. I am only a few pages into it right now.

my fave series:D
Dident become a die hard fan of it before shadow kissed but when I finished that I was really really hooked.
I love everything about this series,the world,the quotes,the characters,the mythology. I abselutely love how the series mixes action,drama,love,friendship and mystery perfectly :D
Loving the bloodlines books too.

This series is so much fun! I hate how people judge the WHOLE SERIES just from the first book -_-

Ahaha I may have done that...
I read a fair bit of the third book earlier this year, but I had to take it back to the library before I could finish it. I think I'll pick it up again though eventually because I liked the way the series was going and the fact that Rose was becoming less silly - in my opinion :)
