1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week (Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace)

Ladies, start thinking of team names & who wants to be captain.
Okay, the first shelf goes up tomorrow. I've played this 4 times, and I'm looking forward to this time. I would offer to be captain but my father died Sunday and I'm just not ready to take a responsibility on like that. I sure need the distraction of this bingo game!So who wants to be captain? And I tried to think of some names cuz I usually can, but they aren't coming right now. It seems to me the last time there was the list you could go look at to see the names that had been used, but I could not find that.
So, Devil's dozen? Series sweepers? There must be something good that references that this is the 12th game 12 team so we win, automatically except that name is too long. :)
I'm in Alaska where it's been warm all winter and now it has been hot all summer. We watch the news to see snow because someone else has had it all winter, we didn't.
Anybody willing to be captain? If no one is I will do it, because we need to get this team rolling. We need to win this one since I want to be on the winning team.
Last game we were tied with two other teams at the very end, and one team read their books in 1 to 2 hours. They pounded us. This time let's have the 12-12 win it!
Deidre, I'm so sorry to hear about your father. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.I live in NC and this will be my 2nd BSB. I had so much fun in R11. I agree that there has to be something to relate to 12th round - Team 12 but my mind is drawing a total blank. I also like Series Sweepers.
Just an FYI - I'm leaving next Wednesday for Cancun. My flight leaves at 11:30am and I won't be back until Sunday. Unless I can find a free wifi somewhere in the resort I will not be able to find out what shelf was called until my flight lands at 9:00pm. (It's going to drive me crazy to not know...lol).
I shouldn't have any trouble getting caught up by the next shelf call. I just didn't want you to worry because I will not be able to post what book I'm reading until Sunday night.
I'm not comfortable with being team captain but I'm definitely willing to help out as backup if needed. I still don't totally understand how everything links in the posts. I'm also currently unemployed so I will be focusing a lot on my job search.
Very sorry to hear that Deidre and can totally understand the need for a distraction. My sympathy to you and your family on your loss.

I'm usually good with the posting and everything not the best cheerleader! LOL!! So hopefully you guys can assist with that. FYI - sometimes work does lure me away from the computer for extended periods so don't be shy about hitting me up with a message if need be. Those usually get through to my phone.

Already checking out what could be my free space book. If you need to refresh your memory as to what is acceptable here is the link: Free Space Rules. The free space is one of the most important spaces and its best to get it completed early in the game.

Review: Although I love the Immortals After Dark (IAD) universe and their stories; this one was pretty average to me. Trehan and Bettina are fated mates who happen to discover this by accident. Once that happens we can pretty much guess the storyline. There are a couple of twists, for example the tournament and Bettina’s relationship with Caz, but even those twists didn’t redeem this one for me.
I’m also not sure why it has to be its own series since the Lore is predominately featured in it. Perhaps time will tell on that one. Overall, just “meh” for me.

I admit I totally was not expecting to really enjoy this book but once i started reading I loved it! The story was complex and written well. I loved all the characters, and they developed so well! I highly recommend this book!
