IMPORTANT!!! Please click on the link above to see our bookshelf of past graphic novels already discussed in the past. If your suggestion has already been chosen in the past, then please make another suggestion.

What is your suggestion for our 23rd Group Read (November 2013)

Please suggest a graphic novel (only one suggestion per member. If you suggest more than one, then your first GN mention will be chosen for this list) for our 23rd Book Club discussion (for the month of November). You can post it in this thread up until the next several days.

After that a poll will be set up for the members to vote and decide what we will discuss next for November 2013.

First horror manga I've read, pretty crazy. In a good way.

message 9: by Andrew (new)

Andrew (aaaaaaaaaaaandrew) I really want to read Avengers: The Children's Crusade

Jim (runawaybastard) | 39 comments Quick question, where does the actual voting for the monthly reads happen? I didn't think I saw one for this month.

message 11: by Alex (new)

Alex Harris-MacDuff (pieford) Absalom: Ghosts of London by Gordon Rennie and originally published in 2000ad. It's a great comic, and suitably different to standard superhero stuff.

Zombo: Can I Eat You Please? is another great one, although it is much funnier and sillier than Absalom. It is properly gross though!

It'd be interesting to see what people thought of these two, I loved them both.

Jim I think NYKen sends out a quiz thing to your inbox and you vote. I seem to remember that last month

Yes, NYKen will send out an email to the poll, but you can always get to the poll and see the past poll results by clicking on the "Polls" link you see in the upper right corner of this page.

Jim (runawaybastard) | 39 comments Well, I just checked and I only received "Last chance to suggest for October" then I got the "October reads/ Suggest for November" message.

message 15: by Stephen (new)

Stephen Coughlin Top 10 or my book Sanctuary Volume 1. I'm happy with most Alan Moore stuff... except his unkempt beard.

Last chance for your suggestions here, as this thread will be closed after tomorrow and the poll will be created for the group to vote on.

message 18: by Paul (new)

Paul | 286 comments Actually, when I suggested RASL, I was thinking the entire collected color hardcover, not "just" the first volume

message 19: by Rosa (new)

Rosa | 23 comments Grace Randolph's Superbia

message 20: by Court (new)

Court | 14 comments I second the suggestion for RASL (hardcover).

My own suggestion is for Infinite Kung Fu by Kevin Mcleod.

message 21: by Austin (new)

Austin Adkins | 35 comments Manhunter by archie Goodwin and Walt simonson

message 23: by Stephen (new)

Stephen Coughlin I'm ok with RASL if my book Sanctuary doesn't make the cut.

message 24: by Corto (new)

Corto Maltese | 78 comments how about "Scalped" vol 1 ?

message 25: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay. The thread will be now closed, and I am creating the polls for all of us to vote.

Ooops I almost forgot my suggestion:
