Discussion of entire book

So here we are at the end. We know everyone's story (except Masteen's), we know about the three factions involved in this conflict. Which faction is the most evil? In my opinion, all of them.

Simmons has done an excellent job creating a this world and the characters that are in it. I always had a hard putting the book down, and I want to know more about the story!

I'm going to create discussions for the sequels, for those of us who want to read them. One for each book I think. They won't be official reads of the group, but if you read them and have some thoughts, you can post there.

I was so disappointed in the cliffhanger, but the book would have had to be a lot longer to wrap things up, and then we'd lose the artistry of the 6 pilgrims/6 stories design.

I will definitely be reading the sequel(s).

Excellent first choice for the book club. I thoroughly enjoyed the book as a piece of literature, rather than just a sci-fi (which isn't always my cup of tea). A few places dragged on, but I appreciated the way the universe was slowly unveiled and pieces of the puzzle kept coming together with each new perspective.
