Our current group read of Dark Places is going really well. It not too late to join in, so get your book and join the discussion.

We are taking the first 10 nominations for the Nov-Dec 2013 group read.

Please don't include Stephen King's own books, books in the middle of a series, really long books, and books that will be difficult to obtain.

Happy reading, Constant Readers!

Hi Sumit, we read that one in our last group read. It was highly recommended. Feel free to read it on your own and add comments to our existing thread for the Aug-Sep 2013 group read.

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

Sarah I've not been in the group very long so I hope it's ok to nominate a book this early on. I would like to nominate Seed. I purchased it off the back of seeing it on the Stephen King Recommends bookshelf!

message 10: by Sandra (new)

Sandra Hensler-grover | 1 comments Seed sounds like a really good book I'm up for it.

I don't have this one on my bookshelf, yet. Is there a Stephen King blurb on the book? I read this one and loved it and would love to add it to my sai-king-recommends bookshelf.

Sarah I could have sworn I saw it on your shelf Debra. How strange! Where the hell did I find it then?!? I must be going mad.

Janice (jamasc) | 801 comments I'm going to nominate The Killer Inside Me by Jim Thompson. Not only is this book recommended by Stephen King, it is also recommended by Jo Nesbo, another of my favorite authors.

Sorry. I've read the book and it's great. I bet King would love it. If you find a blurb from him, please let me know.

We've got 7 great nominations. I'll go with them if we don't get any more nominations over the weekend.

Lillth, I'm sorry, but we've already accepted all nominations for the upcoming group read, and have voted on them.

A have read both The Descent and The Passage and enjoyed them, immensely. Please save your nomination for when we start taking them again in December.

I'm going to close this discussion thread, so no one else accidentally stumbles across it and wants to add a nomination.
