Help! *Spolier*

I have a question! Possibly silly, but I kept rereading the Epilogue and I am wondering who the threat was at the end...when they were at the island and Eric and Phillip received the package...
Catherine was in prison, so it couldn't be her, could it? Anyone know?

Yes....Patricia was Tony's long time assistant. If you remember from Consequences, Patricia was seemingly infatuated with Tony. Claire even questioned Tony about Patricia after meeting her for the first time after they were first engaged. There are at least three clues to her identity/importance. First, when John/Emily discuss her "leaving" the company. Second, when Tony admits to Claire that he received love letters in prison and then hesitates to explain who authored the letters. Lastly, the final scene between loyal employees/friends Eric and Roach. They refer to her as someone who had worked for Tony for many years. The notes seemed to be frequent and obsessive. Perhaps this is to give a hint into Tony's world for his POV novellas. It also illustrates how obsession follows fame and fortune and even when one threat is eliminated, others are lurking. A clever ending indeed!
I was wondering the same thing! But the only person that is coming to mind is his long time secretary (can't remember her name)????
Patricia the secretary..I had the same question! She was also the woman writing him in prison. John and Emily talk about her getting fired when he says its one of those things if he told her he would have to kill her type thing. They talk more about this on the discussion about the last few chapters and the epilogue.
I will definitely be doing a re-read! I think I was so eager to know what happens some stuff got jumbled together.
What! Which discussion is that? Know I'm wondering if I didn't pay close enough attention at the end.
Thank god for you guys! I was so lost and couldn't figure out the end!!!
I must have skimmed over that part.. There were so many different stories going on with such minor players that I got bored and skimmed a bit.
I figured it must have been Patricia but I don't remember Tony saying anything about her specifically when the mention of the "love letters" conversation came up. I assumed it must have been here though when Eric and Phil were talking about it at the end, simply because of the long working relationship they had.
What a useful discussion to come across! Am finishing work for the day and was browsing good reads and came across this! A question that was really bugging me and I couldn't figure out the answer to!!! Thanks all!!!
My little niggle is who took and beat up Harry, this wasn't tied up, I felt Liz was a little shifty and could of been her. Is this one of life's mystery or did i fall asleep somewhere?
I will have to go back and reread the Patricia parts. I was thinking it was the girl whose parents were killed by mistake--hiking in the woods.
Could the "Female" DNA be a hint? I was like...Female DNA? How can you tell the sex unless its not really- ok never mind.
was the fire a coincidence? or was it set on purpose? if yes, by who???
I think the threat was from Tony's assistant(forgot her name), but Eric and Phil don't really worry about it too much because as they said in the end, the threat is not a physical one, but one that would annoy Claire.
