The House of Hades discussion

So at the end of HoH Annabeth hints that she has something she wants to tell Percy once they defeat Gaea and they return home. Any theories on what that might be

Here's the quote chapter 78 "Your not dying on me seaweed brain.Remember? Never separated again and after we get home..."
"What?" Percy asked.
"Ask me again once we get defeat Gaea."

Yeah... thats what I thought when I read it, that Annabeth was thinking about a future in New Rome together woth Percy.

It makes me think that Annabeth wants to propose to Percy or something...

I don't think a wedding is going to happen in the books. But I think it's about their future together. I think the concept of a community where old demigods can live a normal life should be built on Camp Half Blood as well. They can go to college there and build a family. I'm not much in favor of them going to New Rome, I would love for them to stay in their true home, Camp Half Blood.

I know that Camp Half Blood is where they grew up, but I have a feeling that Percabeth will stay in New Rome. It's not just because demigods have a place to go to college and have families. In order to maintain peace between Greeks and Romans, there should be some Greeks living among the Romans (like Percabeth) and a Roman (Jason) among the Greeks. Jason, who came from Camp Jupiter, will chose to be at Camp Half Blood permanently. It almost seems like when Hera wiped Percy and Jason's memories, she designed them to want to live at the camps she placed them in.

I dont even know. I think uncle rick will throw a curveball that we weren't expecting at all.....

I think I agree with Laurel… I have a feeling that Percy and Annabeth will decide to stay in New Rome. It kinda makes me sad, but I'm happy that they will at least have a future together. If only they could make a retirement place for Greeks at Camp Half-Blood! Actually, I have a prediction that they will. When they stop fighting with each other they will learn a bunch. And it's a definite that Jason is going to stay in Camp Half-Blood...

yeah , they keep imagining having children together through the series especially Percy duh
