I absolutely loved reading When Calls the Heart by Janette Oke. Now the book is being made into a Hallmark movie. Comes on Hallmark Oct 19 at 9 pm est.

I just found this post.......I missed the 8 o'clock showing but am DVRing the next one! I haven't read the book yet but heard great things about it. I'm going to read the book first then watch the movie!

Just wait till you find out the surprise at the end. I watched it last night. It is done so well. Her hero is a major cutie :)

I noticed that the movie is on again today at 1 pm and again at 9 pm on Hallmark channel.
It has been years since I read the book, so can't remember. Will have to re-read it.

I looked on my book shelf in the mini-library and there are four books in the series:

1. When Calls the Heart
2. When Comes the Spring
3. When Breaks the Dawn
4. When Hope Springs New

So, wondering if the TV series will follow all four books?

Never read the books but always enjoy the movies.

Well I finally watched it and liked it but it has an added story not from the book. It is also going to be a series on Hallmark starting Jan 4.

It was like a big tease for the upcoming 2014 tv series. LOL
Kind of interesting, follows some book basics, but not necessarily in the same way. The tv version takes more liberties than the Love comes softly series did in its tv movies. Wynn and Edward both...definite hotties. :)

Watched the movie Saturday night on Hallmark. Seems like it will be a great series. I have never read any books by Janette Oke. Looking forward to in the future. Can't wait until January, 2014 to tune-in and see what happens next.
