Cyberpunk discussion

After reading Snow Crash, Altered Carbon, and The Stars My Destination I'm trying to
find more Cyberpunk novels that combine exciting action with smart/smartly executed story telling.
Any pointers?

I liked Snow Crash and Altered Carbon. Check out The Diamond Age, Broad Horizons and Ready Gamer One.

Nexus by Ramez Naam may be what your looking for.

All of Daniel Keyes Moran is brutally great cyberpunk. Start with The Armageddon Blues , then Emerald Eyes and the following books.

Oh, and I just finished book 1 of Avogadro Corp which was pretty good.

Daemon an freedom by Daniel Suarez , also his book kill decision. Avogadro corp and a.i apocalypse by William something was great. Believable stuff for the most part. Mako was good too as suggested above. My favorite is Daemon and Freedom

I'm reading REAMDE right now , probably the most gigantic book I've sunk my teeth into. It's great also.

I decided I don't agree with myself so start with Emerald Eyes and skip Armageddon Blues.

I totally concur with Ceasar! Daniel Suarez and William Hertling are GREAT!!! I also just finished a John Shirley book called Silicon Embrace, which was a flat-out, five-star FANTASTIC read!! His book City Come-a-Walking is actually pre-cyberpunk and is excellent. I also read his VERY cyberpunk series Eclipse, which were a little too grim for my tastes but so well-written I loved them anyway. John Shirley seems to be all over the map with types of books...a certain amount of Horror...but I'm looking forward to reading more of him.
Also, Ian McDonald is an amazing writer whose books are set in India, Brazil and Istanbul....great showcases for future tech with location specific storylines.
Paolo Bacigaloupi is another of my favorites! Shipbreaker may have been a YA novel but it was amazing!
