You know, the last buddy read I did I was over half of the first book ahead and ended up having to find other peeps to read the last one with because I was so far behind... I have to be honest though. Once this one picked up at around 16%...I haven't been bored at all!!!

On another note...the last 10% of Consequences is crazy good! I'm just gonna enjoy Colleen Hoover while you're catching up! No rush :-)

Awesome! No rush...I started Losing Hope this evening in order to give Kelly time to finish her book and catch up too. I will warn you....it starts out slow (or at least it did for me) It picked up around 16% for me. You can go ahead and post and I'll chat along with you.

Yeah no rush Summer :) I think I'm only at 5%, and I still need to finish the last half of Consequences!

That sounds like me lol I can read books at a normal pace by myself and as soon as the word Buddy Read comes in my brains like "oh what's that.. maybe you should spend 4 hours on GR instead of read.. OH! A new facebook game.. Is that Adam Levine back on The Voice again? Must watch..Oh it's 1130pm already? No time for reading tonight" :)

I'm watching The Voice right now squirrel ;-) However, I'm extremely behind so I'm watching the episode from 9/30. Lol

I'm hoping to start tomorrow! Thanks for letting me be part of it! And for helping me figure out how to get it to my Kindle Shannon :)

I've heard several people say they loved it right off the bat. It actually progresses faster than I thought it was going to. I think Bella is (view spoiler)[ 13 when it started getting good for me like 16%. Something like that. (hide spoiler)] Don't get me wrong either, it didn't totally suck for me, just a little slow. Somebody told me to enjoy the innocent and sweet while I could.... That sounds rather ominous :-)

I'm in, and will try to keep up! I'm finishing up a Highlander book now, only about 30 pages left, then I'll start!

It must just be me then. Because it kinda drug along at first but it could have just been the mood I was in. All I know is almost everyone I know that's read it has said it's phenomenal. I usually go in blind but I think I remember reading the synopsis and it really doesn't give anything away. I did see an update a while back and I thought I was spoilered when I read it but it kind of alludes to what I read in the Prologue. I can definitely tell from just how far I've gotten that we'll be glad we've got support on this one. Or at least I'll be glad for support :-)

Hey Ashley, I don't have a clue then. I wouldn't know how to send books to my Kindle if my friend hadn't walked me through it step-by-step. I'm not the most technically forward person...

It's very well-written, but I just can't get past the thoughts/words/emotions she's feeling at only 10 years old. I know everyone's maturity is different, but it just feels a little off to me... (view spoiler)[ I have a friend who quite reading after chapter one and gave it 1 star (I was mentally throwing knives) She thought it sounded "too young" for fifth graders because they were coloring...I disagreed thinking if felt older to me personally. I didn't really start getting into it until around 16% so I would give it at least until 20% and see what you think. I'm in love with the writing. The prose is extremely poetic and it crossed my that maybe the descriptions were too much....but then I was like "girl, you're just thinking crazy". That's like saying you have too many books or too much money...NO.SUCH.THING.!

Well I'm at 13% and really liking it so far. (view spoiler)[ I keep forgetting that they're so young. When Bella is 11, I keep thinking she's at least 13-14 with the way she's thinking, or even older. Also, what's up with Esme giving Bella a tampon after she starts her very first period?! I would have been horrified, but that's just me lol

I'm feeling sorry for her parents. They seem so sweet, and are trying to keep their little girl acting the way she should at her age, but the Cullens are just corrupting that poor child! Everyone's just drinking like it's no big deal.

I'm glad that they're getting older now. Like I said before, I kept forgetting she was young (11 at the time) and I was like "Kiss her Edward! Oh wait.. she's freaking 11, get her out of your bed!!" so now that they're at least teenagers I won't feel so bad for rooting them on :) (hide spoiler)]

Yay!!! I'm starting this back today!!! I swear!!! I have a crazy busy week but I'm going to read if I have to go without sleep! I'm so looking forward to getting back to this crazy train.

So about (view spoiler)[the age thing... It seems like EVERYBODY has had an opinion about this...they either thought they were too young or didn't seem old enough. It's funny, I never really thought about it much (other than wishing it would hurry up) However, I see how it was really setting things up and this is the type of story I call a 'slow burn'. It starts off burning you slowing where you don't even realize you're on fire until way past getting help. LOL I agree about the parents. I really hate his parents in a lot of ways but her parents are just as extreme in some ways too. It's almost like they're trying to keep her in this bubble that is just unrealistic. I also fear about when Alice finds out about them. I hope it doesn't damage their friendship. (hide spoiler)]

If you're really liking it at 13% then I think you're gonna love this one too. It really started getting good for me around 16%. Woot Woot. Buddy reading with Kelly :-D

Yes the run was great! Though the paint didn't glow like it was supposed to so that was a let down. People are definitely way more creative than me when it comes to that stuff lol
