Have you read it? Do you know if he'll do the same for the other volumes?

Oh yes, Carter's page annotations are the first in an English translation, and the wide margins are perfect for readers who take copious notes.
He also corrected errors and clarified some sentences. Read more here:

Yale University Press has asked Carter to translate all the volumes. He should be finished in five years...with WBG scheduled to be out next.
