This thread is for the participants to post their list and update their progress. The suggestions thread is located HERE.


1. 'N' is for November: Read a book that starts with 'N' or a book whose author's first or last name starts with 'N'.

2. .Member of the Month: Suzanne- Suzanne has been a member of the RRRC since April 2011. Here is the link to Suzanne's shelves - HERE Please read a book from any of Suzanne's shelves or a book published in 2011 or any year in the month of April.

3. Geography: Read a book whose author, character or setting is from Montana.

Fun & Crazy Facts about Montana:

★It is illegal to have a sheep in the cab of your truck without a chaperone.
★The official state animal of Montana is the Grizzly Bear.
★It is illegal for unmarried women to fish alone in Montana.

BONUS:You can also read a book with a bear on the cover or part of the plot. Or read a book with a Fisherman. Or read a book where characters spend majority of their time outside or involved in some type of outdoor recreation.

4. Sadie Hawkins Day (November 3rd): This is the holiday where the girl asks the guy to the dance. Read a book where the heroine is the pursuer or has what is typically a "man's" job (fireman, construction worker, etc). Or is a dancer or goes to a dance.

5. Guy Fawke's Day (November 5th): Guy Fawke's had his plot foiled when he tried to blow up British Parliament in 1605. Read a book where a character works with explosives or an explosion plays a major role in the plot line. OR the book is set in England or one of the characters are British.

6. National Saxophone Day (November 6th): Also known as the "baby making music" instrument. Read a book about music or a musician. OR where there is an unplanned pregnancy.

7. International Tongue Twister Day (November 7th): Read a book where a tornado is a part of the plot or the character is flexible or contortionist (twister). OR read erotica or an erotic romance (tongue).

8. Red Planet Day (November 28): Read a book where a character is a scientist or interested in planets. OR Read a book that is red or has red in the title.

9. Happy Thanksgiving (November 28th): Read a book where the characters have a large gathering of friends or family. Or where turkeys are a part of the plot. Or where the character has something big and obvious to be thankful for (having their life saved, something they've worked hard for or really needed to come through, etc.)

10. Reader's Choice: Read any book of your choice.
