Dorcas (onemorepageplease) So far so good! I've put expat alien on my tbr list as well. Although it's modern day (which I'm not usually interested in) the foreign aspects sound like it could be intriguing, I may need to check it out!

Actualy the book is about her experiences from the 50's through college and her marriage to a travelling man so I believe it's through the 90's. Haven't finished it yet so not sure when it ends, but there is some fascinating stuff in there about the events of the decades.

Becky Lawyer | 106 comments Our book group is reading Agatha Christie this month. I just finished

Endless Night by Agatha Christie

Which I HATED! I was so surprised. To cleanse my palate, I just started

4 50 from Paddington (Miss Marple, #8) by Agatha Christie

which I know I love and to renew my faith in Agatha.

I'm also reading

The Night Gardener by Jonathan Auxier

which I bought for my 13-yr-old, but she never read, so to justify it, I'm reading it. It's okay so far and I'm almost half-way. Maybe I'm just not into children's books anymore? Except for Harry Potter, which don't count because they weren't written for children.

I also just started

Galloway by Louis L'Amour

because my brother-in-law couldn't believe I'd never read a Louis Lamour LOL.
