My character is a Dragonborn Rogue level 2. I was hoping for some educational titbits. Although, this IS GRs, I am not too interested in actually reading D&D books as I have 100s of other books on my lists. I have a vague feeling I am going to be quie a bit older than people here....

Hi, Wendy,
Welcome. There isn't a lot of activity here, unfortunately. Perhaps we can change that! Don't worry about age. I started in the 80s, too, with the famed Basic ed. red box. Been rolling dice ever since. I have a game later today, actually. You mention 2nd ed., so I guess you played Advanced. I have played 2nd ed for a number of years. What's your favourite edition?
Bret

I want feedback on my level 2 dragonborn rogue. My last game I rolled poorly with my short bow. Manual says we/they Like to master a skill or talent. I am thinking this would be a good one. Also, my perception sucks. Is there away to improve that? My sheet is in the car, so I don't remember the number.

Short bow is always a nice weapon. Not as much range, of course, but lighter and easier to conceal.
Are you interested in playing one of the older editions via Skype or something? We have a group that plays weekly, although we don't have a set day or time as we change to accommodate work schedules. We can, however, set up a game to accommodate your schedule, if you want to try it out. It isn't quite as good to play this way, but it is a good deal better than nothing. I am assuming you don't live near me, near Asheville, N.C., right? If you did, that would be pretty incredible.
Let me know if you're interested in trying it. Good luck with your PC, regardless :)

Nock your arrow, hit the mark, and download it for this limited time (review, recommend, or just enjoy it, the choice is yours)! But beware the telling: it is not a path many have traveled and may not follow the form of other stories.
Please share this announcement with anyone or any group you like.
