So how many books does everyone read at one time?
I usually read a whole bunch, so I don't get bored with one book.

Sara Shaw | 56 comments me too. I normally read a large number of books together. That way I can finish way too many books and not get bored with one:D

I like reading one book at a time so I can focus on it but it's too hard to do that so I'm in the middle of three books but probably more soon

message 4: by Iris (new)

Iris (purplexlady) I read one book at a time because if I love it, I can't put it down and if I hate it, I can finish it sooner. I may hate the book I'm reading, but I need to how it ends :P

Caru Usually 2 or 3

message 6: by s (new)

s (cherrybelugas) A LOT! Currently, I'm reading...umm...5...

message 7: by Elysha (new)

Elysha | 73 comments I'd rather read one at a time. if i read too many, especially if they're from the same genre, i sometimes get confused

Cassie (lunaluv934) | 1178 comments i can only read one at a time...if I read more, all the stories get mixed up in my head XD It turns out making no sense, whatsoever.

I'm starting to read more at a time.

message 10: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (APCB Reviews) (gr8rach) I'm reading three at the moment. Never Fade, Apollyon, and Champion.

Anna (Unquenchable Reads) (unquenchablereads) | 304 comments Mod
I'm reading 4 right now but I'm starting another tomorrow and then another Thursday.

message 12: by [deleted user] (new)

I have this mega long list of books I'm reading XD

message 13: by Sabrina (new)

Sabrina (forebodinq) Sometimes I like to read more than one book, like when I'm on a break from school. Also, if I'm reading a scary book, I'll read that during the day and then I'll have a nice book to read before I go to bed :P

message 14: by Cassie (new)

Cassie (poffium) | 14 comments I usually read multiple books at one time, usually 2 to 4 but since I've been busy lately, I'm only reading one at a time. But I like reading multiple so I can take mini breaks between books if I get frustrated with the plot/characters

message 15: by s (new)

s (cherrybelugas) Yeah, that's probably the main reason I read more than one at a time.

message 16: by Tayla (new)

Tayla Potayta (taylapotayta) I dont understand how people read more than one book at a time. The time it takes to start another book, you could have finished the first one!

message 17: by Saleen (new)

Saleen I read one book at a time. But I can finish a book in three days to a week.

message 18: by Erica (new)

Erica (ericaevernight) usually one at the time. the only time I'm reading multiple books is if one is boring, and I eventually wont finish that one boring book, because I'm reading the good one.

message 19: by S. (new)

S. Cameron (sellecameron) | 4 comments I tend to read one book at a time so I won't get stories mixed up. Also I feel like I wouldn't be able to fully immerse myself in a novel if I'm reading more than one at a time.

message 20: by K-re (new)

K-re Early | 1 comments I generally read several books at a time, I have the main book I'm reading, the one I'm reading on my computer, the one I take with me to doctor's appointments and such, the one I read in the bathroom (usually a re-read so I don't lose track of the plot and I can pick up or put it down as needed), then I also usually have the one I'm reading to or with my children, and lately I've had to add the ones my children are reading and want me to read so we can discuss. Granted if I'm reading too many different genres my dreams get really interesting, but that's part of the fun in reading, it sparks your imagination.

message 21: by Vera (new)

Vera (nordicsoulbooks) It depends, I usually have one "main" book that I read.

message 22: by [deleted user] (new)

I used to read multiple books at once but I've found that if I read more than one novel at once I often end up putting one down for a break and not picking it up again. I've settled for a novel and a comic at a time :-)

Luminosity (luminousl) Basically I read only one at once, never tried reading a couple of books at once

I can read four books at a time, with 1 that I'm reading most of the time.

message 25: by Emily (new)

Emily (emspecks) i try to keep it to 1 book at a time but sometimes i have to read something for school. and usually im also rereading something so usually 3 at a time for me

message 26: by Aishah (new)

Aishah (informalmee) | 3 comments It's hard for me to stay focused on one book, but if it's really good than it's grasped all of my attention. I generally read like 5 books at a time though!

message 27: by Bella (new)

Bella Alcott | 10 comments It usually depends. I always borrow or buy a lot of books at once so it ends up me reading 5 books at a time. It's terrible, because I end up focusing on one book, and when I'm done I'm like "I have nothing else to do" with the rest of my unread books staring at me.

message 28: by Madelynn (new)

Madelynn | 5 comments 1-2 books at a time!
