I thought this was a wonderful book! It was a compelling book and I understood everyone's reasons for doing what they were doing. I would definitely read The Rose and the Dagger.

The world building was great. Would have loved more explanation on the names used for thing. Thought the ending was very weak and thrown together. However I have high hopes for the next book because now the relationships are form and secret is out. So now we can hope for an action packed book.

I listened on audiobook, but good to know!

I loved this book! There was a bit of istalove, which was annoying, but I loved the characters and most of the world. The teaser for The Rose and the Dagger was such a huge cliffhanger; how can I wait?!?!
