What do you think of City of Bones? Discuss it here!

Ellie Cobley | 3 comments I really loved this book! It is so original even though it contains all the same paranormal creatures from other stories such as vampires and werewolves. The ending was a great twist to what we usually expect to happen and it is now one of my favourite series. I like Jace's arrogant attitude as he is very funny with his remarks and Magnus Bane is amazing what with the way he is so helpful even though he claims not to like the shadowhunters.

I totally agree! This series probably my all time favorite. Not only is the storyline interesting, the characters are hilarious :)

๖ۣۜMegan (mermaid12108) This was the book that made me actuallly start reading and I am part of this fandom, not matter what, i'm part of theTmifamily. Forever a shadowhunter.

Rund | 3 comments I love how Cassandra managed to introduce a new idea to the YA books in the most interesting way , the characters are amazing but my favorite character is Simon , he's hilarious and as you continue reading the series you'd love him even more , along with Jace of course ;)

Yeah, if you don't love jace, you're reading the book wrong.

I have not seen the movie, but I really want to. I heard that overall it was great compared to the book, but that some things were different than from the book.

Rund | 3 comments I didn't like the movie that much because the plot was incomplete in it but I did love the actors though

Personally, I feel that book lovers (in general) compare the book harshly to the movie - including me sometimes. The movie has a limit to the budget and sometimes its hard to put a certain scene in, even with special effect, so of course it will never be as great as the book where an author can sit down and write whatever she wants

I don't know if I can read the series anymore. I was so pumped up to do it... but then I saw her post where she said -DO NOT READ IF YOU DO NOT WANT ANY TEASERS INTO WHAT WILL BE HAPPENING IN CITY OF HEAVENLY FIRE OR ALLEGIANT- (view spoiler).

Pato (cuacoromi) for me the movie is far from the book. Also tells a lot of things from the next books, which i didnt really like.

Emily (divergentfan106) | 1 comments I loved this book soooo much! It is my fave book series ever. But, the movie was a bit off, except that some of the convos in the movie were the same in the book!
