YOU WILL CRY!

I don't want to spoil the ending, but yes it is incredibly sad, I cried for days, and am still crying lol! But the ending is extremely symbolic and resolves one of the major conflicts in the series. It's a beautiful and powerful ending :)
I'm reading it right now and I think Tobias is really out of character and Tris is kind of bugging me too. Also, I think I may have accidentally spoiled the ending for myself by flipping through pages of the book. Oops!

That, my friend is why I want one.

Same here, Mayuri! It's not that ereaders are bad or anything. I just prefer physical copies of books.

I've never tried one so I really can't say...

But it was interesting in parts. Like, when Tori dies and later it's revealed that her brother, is not dead. Similarly, how Amar (or Aman, what was his name?) was never really dead. I was keen to know what was outside the fence. And who Edith Prior was.
Uriah died! Seriously!?
Tris dies too. That had been a bit evident, because Roth added Tobias' POV in this book. But still, I cried when she died. The ending was ohmahgerd the feels when Tobias throws Tris' ashes while zip-lining :'D
I was really glad that Christina and Tobias become best friends :D
So I'll give the book 3.5 stars!

I was also hoping to get more of Tris and Tobias's relationship, but they don't seem to be the same together anymore.
I hate how so many characters die by the the end of the book. I mean that loss is good in a book, even though you cry, because there have to be ups and downs, but how many of the original characters are left? And nobody takes there place. It was cool how Tris died for Caleb remembering what she had said earlier: "I wouldn't walk you to your execution" (or something like that), but. I wish she had told Caleb that.
I feel like this book was also low on inflection and emotion. I feel like I am only reading this because of Divergent and Insurgent. I waited so long and to be honest, I'm disappointed. The character development was also quite low.

Rant over. I will come back to see what you think.
Same here! I totally felt like it was such a waste, the whole Edith Prior thing. And I found the book really predictable. I'm not sure I'd even recommend the series after this book!

If there is one, I'm not sure I'd even read it after this book, honestly. I felt really let down. Though I guess I've ranted enough, so I'll just leave it at that. :P
Haha, no, I get it. I definitely ranted on a few other threads, and for sure on my review. I guess I'm just all ranted out now though. But I liked your rants! :)

HEY! There I go again.
