If you haven't heard already...LOST LAKE will be on sale January 21st! That's 3 weeks sooner than planned! To celebrate, we are giving away 10 early galleys. All you have to do is leave a comment sharing who your favorite character is from Sarah's books and why (or if you haven't read any of them yet, your favorite character from any book and why) and we will randomly select 10 of you to receive an early copy!

I have only read The Peach Keeper and I enjoyed Willa the most. She had such a journey in that book, I really enjoyed getting to know her.

Julia from The Girl Who Chased the Moon. Strong, confused, hopeful and carrying so much sadness within her. I loved the journey she took me in.

All of the Waverly women in Garden Spells. I don't think one would be complete without the others.

Claire from Garden Spells. I love reading about her journey in the story, it is my favorite book!

Josey from The Sugar Queen is my absolute favorite! I just related to her so much in how self-conscience she was, and then how she eventually became her own person. I loved Josey and I truly missed her when the book ended.

Evanelle Franklin from Garden Spells. What a great gift to be able to give people what they need, even if you don't understand it.

Claire Waverley from Garden Spells is my favorite. I related to her so, so much and I was rooting for her the whole time!

I really like Josey from The Sugar Queen. She found a quiet strength which I just loved. It was so much fun to watch her blossom!

Chloe from The Sugar Queen. I loved that she has a special relationship with books...

I was so amused by the Cirinni's maid, and loved Chloe from Sugar Queen, Julia from Girl Who Chased the moon, the Apple tree from Garden Spells, and Agatha & Georgie from the Peach Keeper. I am so excited for a new book!!!

Claire Waverley and the Apple Tree from Garden Spells. I loved how Claire evolved through the story, and who doesn't love an apple tree with personality that chucks apples at people?! :)

Can't WAIT for Lost Lake!!

I love Julia from The girl who chased the moon. I love that she bakes cakes and works hard and has the hope to keep baking for her daughter.

My favorite character is Willa from The Peach Keeper. I really enjoyed how she evolved and the friendship she builds with Pax.

I also enjoyed the Waverley Sisters and the Apple Tree from Garden spells. Other favorite characters from other (favorite) books would require more thought.

I loved all the Waverly women, but Evanelle was my absolute favorite. She was so feisty and fun. I also really enjoyed her "gift"!

Josey from The Sugar Queen is my favorite. I relate to her because I love sweets so much I feel like I have to secretly eat them because it's a ridiculous amount! I really loved this book!

My favorite is Helen from the Lotus Eaters. It's a story about war, the power of love. This is a book I could read over and over again.

I loved Garden Spells the best. However I can't remember the main character because it was so long ago that I was introduced to Sarah 's books. Love the all. Am so excited that Lost Lake is coming out early.

I have to say my favorite character so far is the apple tree in Garden Spells, throwing its apples. I love the magical realism of Sarah's books and somehow that ends up being the natural world...

So many to choose from but, I related to Josey from the Sugar Queen. Timid but then found her own strength.

For me it is definitely Josey, from the Sugar Queen. I found I related to her the most and just loved her.

I have loved all of her books thus far, but one of my favorites, and the character I most relate to is Josey from The Sugar Queen. I feel that we are kindred spirits. :)

Oh, I loved them all! But Chloe in The Sugar Queen with her book magic entranced me. I also thought Evanelle from Garden Spells was a great character and her unexplained 'gifting' was such a quirky play on prescience.

So hard to choose one character. The reason I keep reading, and looking forward to, Sarah Addison Allen's books is because there is always that one character who either possesses a strength or a weakness that I totally relate with. If forced, I will have to go with Claire, from Garden Spells. Her abandonment issues, doubting her sister's return, all while trying to maintain control is closer to home than I would like to readily admit. I simply cannot wait for Lost Lake's release.

I adore Josey Cirrini from The Sugar Queen and I would love her sweets-filled closet!

It's a tie between Willa from The Peach Keeper & Claire from Garden Spells! But I love all Sarah's books! :)

Chloe from the Sugar Queen because she has a special relationship with books like my Daughter whose name is Ellie, but I call her my Belle.

Since I haven't read any of Sarah's books yet, I must pick a character by another author. I'll go with Santiago from Hemingway's The Old Man and the Sea... for his amazing determination.

Julia from The Girl Who Chased the Moon most definitely. Her story was so compelling to me.

Chloe from The Sugar Queen, and Claire from Garden Spells are my two favorites.

This will be the first of Sarah's books that I will read, and I'm sure it won't be the last! My favorite character most recently has been Jane in "4 to 16 Characters". At only 15, she's had to go through a lot. But she learns to trust again and comes out of her shell. I wanted to reach into the pages and give her a hug!

I love each main character in all the books. .. can't pick just one. .. I'm so ready for lost lake! !!

Claire from Garden Spells, I can relate to her.

Definitely Claire from Garden Spells. She was so isolated (self imposed of course), yet when she finally opened her eyes, she saw that she had many beautiful people to interact with and beautiful experienced to be had. Can't wait to read Lost Lake!

Its so hard to pick a favorite but I will choose Julia because I like her love story the best.

I would have to say Josey from The Sugar Queen--she's so quirky and down-to-earth!

I felt very connected with Josey. She was definitely my favorite! Some characters just click and remind you of yourself in some ways; in this case, there were many.
