Evan (sampsom) | 578 comments Apologise to all I have wronged, there is a list in my head.
Go to Japan
Meet a geeky celebrity.
Go swimming in a lock on Scotland

Evan (sampsom) | 578 comments Oh forgot go to Norway! They are super nice, and Ireland.

message 4: by Som (new)

Som 'Tis very personal, but... what the hell...

-Building a school for autistic kids (currently working on it, waiting for some NGO funding)
-An old-age home for free
-Eradicating poverty from my place; or at least some chunks of it
-Saving money for all of these and other misc welfare stuffs (recently sold my car for a start)
-Avoid self brain draining, marriage, having kids etc obstructions

message 5: by Som (new)

Som Err, twas personal cause I didn't want any credits from it. It's like I owe my place big time, tis payback time!! woohoo! and I've nothing else more exciting to experience than reading buncha books and learning to lead a minimalist lifestyle while helping my people...Thanks though H99. (:

message 6: by Evan (new)

Evan (sampsom) | 578 comments I did Spanish for GCSE and that was ages ago! When I went to Madrid it was amazing how much came back! I must say out of French Spanish and a teeny bit of welsh Spanish is the nicest and easiest ( verb endings)

message 7: by Som (new)

Som Cheers.. (:

Lia...There are many reasons, few of them...
I'm usually lazy; can't manage most things at a time. Being married is a lot of responsibilities. So it's this or that...
Social services need utmost dedication and risks; if you make it free of cost for all then the financial backup should be stronger; having a family is a pricey affair anyways...
Minimalist lifestyle is peaceful.
Some said that I'll be lonely and depressed after growing old. Well, I'm always alone, so no room for loneliness...And Internetz will still be here if that alone thing will be too much to take lol

message 8: by Som (new)

Som Thanks Lia. Yeah it's ok to worry about someone not wanting to get married; but if it's for a better/bigger cause then marriage is not big of a deal. Everyone should be ok with what makes you happy end of the day... (:

I wanna learn a new language too. Preferably Japanese; Although I know bits and pieces after watching countless anime episodes.

message 9: by Som (new)

Som Yeah definitely, it's not like everyone has the same standards for happiness.

Yep

You do what you gotta do; but bucket lists changes with age and at some point it stagnates. Mine has stagnated to this since 2011...

I think generally when someone literally maintains a itinerary type bucket list, chances of enjoying them are less. but when we'll get old, wrinkly old, most of us will try to enjoy everything there is, randomly..

Yup mines like that, the whole appologising thing, thats been made a list since 2010. Norway has been an always dream. The whole Scotland thing, well to me, it is the most beautiful place I've ever been, first going there five years ago and always wanting to go back.

But dreams change, five years ago I would have never considered going to Japan. And the geeky celebrity thing I would never have considered my self a geeky guy five years ago.

Lucky duck! In new Zealand reportedly there are no manderian tutors MAYBE SOME BUT RARELY

message 12: by Som (new)

Som Evan, that's cool. Badass geeky look with wearing a black kimono and wielding cross katanas on back like Snow Crash's geeky 'Hiro Protagonist'...

Why Norway if ya don't mind sharing..
I wanted once to go Norway and Finland too, back in 2006.. because my musical influence of Norwegian Black Metal and Finnish Doom metal...

H99...still this to be considered..
Helping others often become an addiction, most get addicted to the inner feeling of happiness, the pimply-goosebumps all over your consciousness, lead you to feel absolute transcendence; make you listen to evanescence in dreams!....what it means is, my list is somewhat selfish too. The reach of the 'self' could be a little deeper, and I want it to be satisfied!
Hence a b-list in the first place lol

Evan (sampsom) | 578 comments Why Norway! Hmm well it's got my kind of climate! I once met various different people who live there and they are all so nice. It also has some of the fastest Internet in Europe!

message 17: by Evan (new)

Evan (sampsom) | 578 comments My school had an external Mandarin teacher who could teach you, but she was generally the scariest woman alive, my friend had her as a Guardian and she was petrified of her. I did a few lessons as I thought it would be useful but then stopped as she A. scared me and B. I decided I could learn more useful things from my friends who (the majority are Chinese/Cantonese)are all fluent and can help me a lot.

I'm in new Zealand so there aren't any. I'd even take her.
