Thank you Booknut! I love the raised metallic paint, too. :)

Story (isekai_protagonists) | 974 comments I find it interesting how the proverbial camera is held closer to the model's face for this one.

That's a good point, Katie. Someone also mentioned how her lips are slightly parted, and that they've noticed that a lot in Hebrew covers. I always wonder how much culture plays into the remaking of a cover.

Anjo (anjolina_) | 115 comments Also, her eye is still covered in this one. But in a different way?

That's a great point! I think they were trying to keep it very close to the domestic cover in theme. It's an interesting facsimile for sure. :)

It actually has only a hard G in Hebrew, and there's no 'w', so it would be read Hovard.

Still beautiful XD

Okay, I'm so impressed right now. You read Hebrew?! Just, wow.

Anjo ..."

LOL, I'm Jewish, so it's one of those things that's a tad required. There aren't many letters, it's fairly easy to learn (especially at a young age; I was around first grade when I began) :)

Of course, I'm leaving Hebrew behind a bit to learn Japanese, but I doubt I'll ever lose the language <3

Nita Pan (nitapanwrites) | 149 comments @ DaHanci That's so cool. My dad knows around twenty different languages, so he's taught me bits and pieces of some. I took Mandarin in elementary school and am learning Spanish and Latin right now. My goal is to learn Russian and Italian before I graduate. I lived in the Czech Republic six or so years ago, so I know a bit of Czech and a small percent of Russian already. (Completely off topic, but Europe is SO beautiful, especially Czech Republic. It was there that I was like 'Huh, well, I have paper and a pencil... I wanna write and see what happens!' If you go and/or go again to Europe, visit the Czech Republic. You won't regret it.)

Story (isekai_protagonists) | 974 comments I know some Spanish on account of having taken the equivalent of 2 years of it in high school. I took it in the form of online classes. However, I took it rather quickly, along with many other classes, as I transfer into a high school my junior year and had to make up for credits that didn't transfer, and it has been over a year since, so I don't remember as much as I used to. And I would love to learn Japanese! I've been contemplating starting to do that for a while, so I can catch more things in anime that I might be missing by just relying on subtitles. It would also help with vocaloid stuff too, as subbed versions of songs don't really come out right away.

...We were supposed to post on this forum on the class website why we were taking Japanese, and I felt kind of awkward saying "well i know anime and vocaloid"... Until I found out that the four other students had said the same thing XD

I honestly wanted to learn it because I had the head start anime/VOCALOID gave me, such as a couple simple characters and words, and sometimes even entire phrases. It does actually make watching anime more fun the more you know :)
