We're now open to nominations for December's group read books! If there's a book that was released within the last month, that's a great start!

We're open to all nominations at the moment, including authors nominating their own books. Please note, though, that if there's even the slightest hint of sock puppet accounts in nominations and/or voting, it will not be tolerated and the rules will change.

Another bump! If there's a book you would like to read and discuss as a group, this is the topic to share it!

Ok guys, I think I might have confused you all a little bit. You can read all 10 of your books as YA if you like. The only limit is on how many non-PNR or UF books you read. Oh--and we do include the PNM (Paranormal mysteries) in the "no limits on how many you read for the challenge." It's only if there is zero paranormal elements that it counts as one of your 3 non-pn books. So if there's a ghost or vampire or angel or were-wolf or shape shifter or mermaid/selkie, intelligent octopus, time travel, sci-fi etc then it IS allowed and doesn't count against your "Limit of 3". So for instance, The Legend of Banzai Maguire is perfectly legal for our challenge because 1) it has a type of time travel (ok, she's cryogenically frozen, but still, no longer in our time period) and 2) it's a romance. (BTW, anyone that is interested, this is a GREAT series, but you can't find all of them by looking at Susan Grant's books. This is one of those series that has multiple authors in it.)

Any of the Sookie Stackhouse books are legal, the Mercy Thompson's, the Alpha & Omega books. We are ssooo lucky that we have as many choices as we do now. When I first started reading Paranormal, sci-fi and fantasy books, finding new titles wasn't easy, since there weren't as many publishing houses that were actually willing to publish them. Now they are considered "main-stream" and I kind of do a puppy wiggle of happiness when I go into a bookstore now because I know that I'll have bunches and bunches and bunches of books to check out and read.
