Jason Kobrin Hi everyone. I'm new to the group and have been a Star Wars fanatic for years. One of the first movies I ever saw in a theater was Return of the Jedi.
I read the series with C'Baoth, as well as the Jedi Academy and Corellian trilogies a long, long time ago. I don't remember a lot about any of them, especially the latter two.
My children are now just getting to the age when they are showing an interest in Star Wars and my interest has once again peaked. I am looking to start reading Star Wars books again. Where do I start? I wouldn't mind retreading any of the aforementioned books either. Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Glitchieyt TTV | 6 comments I suppose you could follow the books in the expanded timeline and go on up from there, since the actual sith species, all the way up to the death of Chewbacca, and so on.

Good on ya on getting back into it, though!

Jason Kobrin Thanks! Is there a list that I can view?

Glitchieyt TTV | 6 comments If you have any of the books, it usually depicts the timeline somewhere near the beginning of the book. There, you can pick up the lists, or research the list up online, I'm in a hurry so I can't get it out quite yet.

Jody | 19 comments Try checking out the Wookieepedia timeline. Always a good reference.

Ron Francis (ronfrancis32) | 7 comments If you don't mind meeting a whole bunch of new characters at once, I'd go with Vector Prime which is the start of a 15-17 book story arc called The New Jedi Order. There are also some good one shots out there as well as a new series that Just started that takes place during the time period of the movies called Empire and Rebellion. The first book of that series; Razor's Edge only came out a few weeks ago. I would also stay away from the Dark Nest Trilogy (Not Star Wars finest moment haha)

Gabriel I would read the x-wing series. It has some familiar people, but introduces new people as well.

The X Wing series is very good

Christopher Schnurr (ctschnurr) | 1 comments I highly recommend Red Harvest and Death Troopers by Joe Shreiber. Stormtroopers/Sith + zombies = a good time :)
