There are a couple of parts that have stayed with me (as I read it a while ago). I loved when the woman of the couple was talking and she said that she loved more than one man. Her husband. That through-out their marriage, her husband changes (like all people change) and she has to re-fall in love with him every time. I loved that. I thought it was very insightful and sweet.
The sci-fi stuff, I was able to ignore, pass over and just accept at face value (since I"m not really into scifi stuff).
But it was the end that I loved the best. This group of men sitting around judging him. That they could could believe all those horrible things about the main character: that he had become a sex-hungry child killing monster. But they couldn't believe the most obvious, horrible truth. I loved the challenge to the stereotype and the assumptions.
Men are just as capable of being raped as women.

Hmm have just re-read this and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. If you read the book you'll know what I mean!
