Ken (kendoyle) | 263 comments Qube, I also envy your collections. When I moved this summer, space was at a premium and so I had to donate many of my books. I still hung on to a few Asimovs, though not as many as I would like.

If I had the money, I'd buy a house with a huge library room--bookshelves from floor to ceiling!

Gayatri | 38 comments Wow! That's a lot of book loving ! I don't have as many books as ya'll do but I am collecting books by
P.C.Cast, L.J.Smith, Meg Cabot, Sarah Dessen.

Going digital is not collection of books. They exist virtually and have no impact on physical world. As Qube here describes the space constraint. Me too worried where I am gonna put my all books?

Qube wrote -- "If I had the money, I'd buy a house with a huge library room--bookshelves from floor to ceiling"! -- The feeling is mutual.

One home library I would like is this: its awesome. I feel so envious of the people who own it (and I don;t at all envy the poor sods who have to maintain it, possibly paid cleaners)

I don't even want the net. Just give me that Library and time to read those lovely books! It's strange when today, we have less space at home and so libraries become all the more crucial, that these institutions are dying a slow but steady death. I wonder how many of us are members of libraries....

Kunal Sen | 506 comments through a scribd subscription, though i think the letters are available by themselves in Indian stores in the paperback form too, or at least a partial collection. but i could be wrong. the diaries certainly are.

message 17: by Sudhang (new)

Sudhang Shankar | 130 comments That's interesting; I had no idea scribd was good for anything other than solution manuals to tech books.

I always pick Chetan Bhagat to see how deep he has gone this time into depths of stupidity... and after his last half-mind-half-sensible-full-idiocracy book.. i hope he has touched the bottom of pit...
