How do you like your coffee and doughnuts, if you please?

Hot chocolate with cinnamon is better.
Could you survive without coffee?

Starbucks or Caribou are my favorites. Tall, and room for a little cream. Just a little.

And no, I could NOT get by without coffee. It's hard enough to make it first thing in the morning, before I've had any. heh. But I usually stick to one big mug in the morning. Unless I go to Costco. Their latte freezes are oh so good.

I'm mocha from the latte stand girl. Unless I drag out my French press, I usually don't care for regular coffee. I drink tea. It goes good with scones.
I'm pretty fanatical about my coffee. Trader Joe's sells this Scandinavian Arabica coffee that I drink at home. With half-and-half, and 3 spoonfuls of sugar.
When at work, I duck down to the Starbucks (yeah, I know...BOO! HISS!) downstairs and get me a Misto (basically, it's their cafe latte) with steamed non-fat milk. It's very tasty.
Coffee and water are my daily beverages. And beer.

Jackie, absolutely! I get giddy standing by the chocolate-covered espresso bean quarter machine. Instead of candy it's CHOCOLATE BEANS!
No. I drop acid in my coffee from time to time, though.

I almost always prefer my coffee black. Sometimes I go through phases where I enjoy a bit of cream and only if the coffee is truly unpalatable do I add sugar. Village Inn coffee needs sugar, por ejemplo.

Sometimes another cup around 10AM, sold to me by a cute college girl working her way through school.

No offense to the Starbucks drinkers, but I always thought that their coffee tastes like they scorch their beans during the roasting process...
A great little coffee place down the street from my office offers a latte with decaf espresso and non-fat milk. They call it the Why Bother Latte, which I find infinitely amusing.

My favorite is a dark espresso mocha made with a rich, dark chocolate syrup and hazelnut syrup. It's not something I have every day cause it's not good for my diabetes, but it sure hits the spot when I need a treat. Otherwise, I'll get by on a good iced coffee with cream & nutrasweet. Oh, and when I had to open the shop at 5 am, I used to down a coupla Dopias - 2 shots of dark espresso with whipped cream (often flavored with chocolate or hazelnut or almond) filled to the top of a short cup. Those were too good, and I'd buzz around for a few hours and then crash by the time I made it home in the afternoon.
I can't stand bad coffee... and can barely tolerate drip unless it's certain types, like Godiva or Seattles Best, with warmed milk and flavored nutty syrups. If the coffee is too weak or too bitter, I have to put on my snooty persona and turn up my nose to it. It's just awful. But good coffee, which tastes just like it came straight from Italy... that is to die for. (sigh) Dangit, now I want some.

-i love my carabian coffee in the morning, and let my body recharge.
-i love hot coffee in coffee bean, with white love on the top.
-i love black coffee when i come to my grandparents house in the evening and talk everythin with them.
-i love ice coffee in in j.co and eat my j.crown with my friends.
-i love coffee with bubble from hop-hop drink when i watching movie with someone.
-i love coffee coz, coffee have a lot of means in every situation, even have a lot of taste but, basicly, tht wont taste cool without coffee inside.
^^)

I feel your adoration.

Thanks Larry, I know what you mean, I find myself amused at Goodreads banter. You can't help but write along.

RA, do I have permission to guzzle down large amounts of soda and swear I had coffee?

O.K., How do I getthis to go instant? I keep having to go to my E-mail to read reply's and I am dbating Godand the healing power of prayer with some Athiest's on another group, I am so computer dangerous.

Did you join the group? Are you looking at the Terminal Coffee home page?

You can just go to your "home" page once in a while -- like every 10 seconds or so ha ha -- and look for red numbers by the thread titles indicating new comments. Click on the red numbers and they will magically appear before you for your reading pleasure. Then just respond as you see fit, making sure to say things that are really funny or important/profound, or both.

If it's good coffee, I prefer a bit of milk, but no sugar. Crappy coffee needs sugar.
Everyplace in my neighborhood (other than Dunkin Donuts) serves our local Zeke's (http://www.zekescoffee.com/), which is damn fine coffee. I can usually resist, but the rain and the tired are combining to lure me in.
