That is such a spot on review.

The blurb:
"Howard Rhodes, an NSA cryptanalyst, engineered the zombie apocalypse. So said the President of the United States in his shocking final address to the nation, which served as the American epitaph. Four years later, the old world is in ruins and is stalked by the living dead. Many survivors keep journals to record their travails in the hope that their lives still matter. There’s Jenna, a sardonic loner who is forced to care for others; Douglas, a young boy who wants to see the world outside his bomb shelter and make his dead mother proud; an old vagabond who has made his peace with the harsh truths he learned living in the margins of society; Thaddeus, a family man who will nevertheless do anything to see what comes after humanity; Hernando, who sees the dark humor in the new world; and Eric, Hernando’s mentally ill neighbor in Richmond, VA, who yearns for an adventure to shake up his routine and who just might know where to find the world’s most profound secret, hidden in the bowels of NSA headquarters, a secret from another star, the secret of why the world ended…of why God decays."
I've also recently started The Man from Primrose Lane and I'm still working on The Witching Hour and Fallen Dragon.

Started up on Diaries of a Dwarven Rifleman last night. And will start listening to an audiobook of Dracula that's narrated in part by Tim Curry at some point today.

I think I am going to focus on Peter F. Hamilton's Fallen Dragon for the next couple of days.
I finished listening to The Thousand Names, and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next book in the series. (My Review).
I also read Attack on Titan, Volume 2 (My Review).

I hope you enjoy. The Belgariad is like comfort food for me.
Taking a break from fiction and reading The Swerve: How the World Became Modern. Facinating story of a book lover and how that influnced history.
I should read something for Christmas. This summer I read How John Norton the Trapper Kept His Christmas. Now I wish I had saved it until now.

I love Fallen Dragon so much. I read it when I was about 16 and connected with it like crazy, so much that I'm scared to reread it in case I don't enjoy it as much.

Elantris is awesome, extremely long but well worth it

love the dresden files, summer knight is when the series really got good for me

I'm getting my copy from the library today and I'm very exited about it. Totally agree with people having to make their own decisions ;)

I liked the three that came before Summer Knight, but I agree, this one is by far the best in the series so far.

I finished A Natural History of Dragons: A Memoir by Lady Trent (My Review).
I also read Attack on Titan, Volume 3 (My Review) and
Attack on Titan, Volume 4 (My Review)

Will be continuing the Theft of Swords with Avempartha The Riyria Revelations 2 also on Audible
I finished listening to The Savage Tales of Solomon Kane for SFF Audio. (My Review).
Now I'm listening to The Man With the Golden Torc

I'm currently reading, and enjoying, Fallen Dragon. So far, my only problem with the book is that I don't like the way Mr. Hamilton writes sex scenes, to me they read too much like wish fulfillment...a letter to Penthouse Forum. Fairly minor criticism though.
The corporatist future he depicts is a future I find to be more than a little terrifying.

..."
I especially liked the way he avoided black-and-white, good guy, bad guy over-simplifications.
