YA & NA Romance ♥ discussion

This is the Alphabet Challenge!

Please comment below if you would like to sign-up! Sign-up will close on December 15. I will then assign the letters.

How this will work:
1. Sign-up by commenting below
2. When the sign-up has finished, I will randomize your names and post them below
3. Each person will be assigned a letter
4. Each person will have to find a YA Romance or NA Romance book that starts with the letter that they are assigned
5. Once a YA Romance or NA Romance book has been chosen for the letter assigned, please post the letter assigned with the cover of the book that you have chosen
6. When you have finished reading the book that you have chosen, please post the letter assigned, the cover of the book, the date you completed the book, and your rating of the book.

If you have a tricky letter (like X or Z, for example), you are allowed to have the letter assigned be found somewhere in the title or the author's name! This will allow you to be creative! ;)

Truly these alphabet challenges do a great job of feeding my book addiction! So, I'm in and happy to join this one too:)

However, I'd like to suggest that the alpha assignments be randomly assigned so they aren't as predictably matched so that the #1 entrant is always given "A" as their assigned letter. Perhaps the element of surprise will add to the fun.

The letters actually are randomised. I think with the last one A actually was given to number 1 on the list but it was truly random. I use a random number generator :)

What I am considering though is starting from Z one month as we don't get enough people to get to the end of the alphabet most of the time!

Hey Sarah,

It's true, if letters of the latter half of the alpha were people they may have felt neglected in some of the past challenges in which there were fewer than 26 participants :) So that's a great idea to flip things around.

This is the last alphabet challenge of 2013 and I have assigned the letters from Z backwards, just to shake things up a bit!

I could not finish this book. I disliked most of the characters, especially the two leads, with the fire of a thousand suns. The writing was bland and overly simple and the plot was contrived and ridiculous.

Oh dear! I won't be reading that book then!
