I think that it makes sense.
but I don't REALLY belive that it works that way... I think that when you die, you can still watch over your loved ones, but must do good things (what?) ....
I don't really know where I'm going with this! ack...

I don't know... My sister had an English teacher that was exactly like a bear. When I say exactly I mean exactly!!! It was SCARY!!!! I went to her graduation and looked around the crowd. I knew absolutely nobody in that crowd, but when I saw him, I was like 'THAT'S MR. INGALL!!!' or however you spell his name. It was freaky. He totally is like a bear. He's even obsessed w/ bears. He has an enormous bear collection and his classroom is covered w/ bear posters.

Anyway, my point: It's possible. That English teacher would probably have been a bear in his most recent life form...

I KNOW!!! IT WAS SO BIZARRE!!!!! SERIOUSLY, IT WAS TERRIFYING!!! Except Mr. Ingall is really nice. He's got that bear-like niceness. Like Winnie-the-Pooh or a teddy bear.

I've actually only said about 2 words to him, but he so resembles a bear!!

Isha | 12 comments Cool. I'm a hindu so I do believe in re-incarnation. When I was a kid my dad told me that there is a whole line of animals that you are before you become a human and when you are a human it is a great privilege. Anyways. In hundus it is said that we were all dogs before this life. Isn't that cool?

Sofia (sofiakennedy) | 299 comments Mod
Cool!!! Is that why humans all love dogs so much?

That's pretty much what reincarnation means.

Some people believe in it. You shouldn't say it's ridiculous. It's insulting. Say something about why you don't think it's possible.

Your "opinion" would insult people who believe in reincarnation.

And what did you say that made in not possible?

message 10: by Sofia, Right Brain =D (new)

Sofia (sofiakennedy) | 299 comments Mod
But if your 'That's ridiculous' is sarcastic, it means you think its not ridiculous.

jeez.. maybe, like, have your little fight AWAY from where anyone in the worl can see? And why isn't this group PRIVATE? Or at least something that isn't PUBLIC...

i agree with karrie get over the fight- focus on the discution!
i think thaty reincarnation is totally possible, and i would actually prefer it to a heaven or a hell. but i was wondering if maybe the whole reincarnation thing would take away from poeple individaulity? because, if you are the same soul then what makes every human different? what makes every animal different? and what about clones- whose soul is used for those? science gets in the way.

Abby (I♥Fang) (ifang) | 14 comments i totally believe that reincarnation is possible, but i would rather not be reincarnated. i would miss myself. i would like to stay the same person.

but... a dust mite is not alive. so we need to find out if it is only the living things that change you? (i think not). and is it possible that one dust mite would change your carma (if we are goiing by the hindu religion?)

A dust mite is alive, but it's microscopic, so they don't affect us much. A dust molecule is not alive (but some people think it is, because the'yre made of Atoms, the basic building blocks of life). If you were to invent a machine that kills dust mites, or even trod on a single dust mite on purpose, then I guess that could affect you're karma, if only slightly.

You could just freeze the dust mites... Would that kill them? 'Cause my brother's allergic to them and we froze them so would that mean it could affect our karma? Not that I believe in it, just curiosity.
