Vannie has three friends Lilian, Chynna and Bea. They all are good friends and it was time for summer. Chynna is Vannie's best friend until one day, a gorgeous guy moved next door and they both fell in love with him at first sight.

Damien greets Chynna but saw Vannie beaming from their house and he waved at her though Chynna didn't notice. Vannie blushes and her heart beats wildly so she immediately hid behind the window curtains then...

Damien stops dribbling the ball he was holding and was dribbling while still talking to Chynna and asked her.

"Do you know the girl who lives there?" he asked.

"Um... well," Chynna didn't want to tell him when Lilian and Bea appears behind her.

"The girl there is our friend," said Bea.

"And her name is Vanessa Carlton," she giggled.

Damien's herat lurched at the adrenaline rush that came upon him. Now, he knew the friends of the first girl who caught his attention.

And so was Damien's face.

They couldn't look straight into each other's eyes but Damien was looking at her face while she was trying to hide it with her hair.

Damien cleared his throat as they approached. Chynna was obviously annoyed with all of them. She was watching Damien's reaction.

"H-hi..." Damien tried to even out his voice. He was a bit nervous, his heart was pounding so loud that he wondered if the girls could hear it.

Bea and Lilian decided to drag Chynna away so that Vannie and Damien could be alone. She didn't want to but Bea and Lillian's joined froces were too much for her so she gave up and walked away with them still furious.

"Want to h-have s-snacks? My mom is b-baking c-cupcakes," Damien asked her and she looked up at him finally and managed a smile which made Damien catch his breath.

Vannie looked shocked at Chynna and Damien's reaction.

"Chynna? What are you talking about?" she asked confused.

"What jealousy?" she asked everyone. She didn't realize that Damien liked her and that Chynna was jealous.

Before anyone could answer, Damien tugged Vannie away from the tension and from Chynna's anger.

"I must... must tell her I didn't mean to-" Vannie said.

"No! She mustn't be acting that way towards you. You're her friend..." he looked at Vannie.

"But... it's my fault," she sighed.

((lol. poor chynna though))

Chynna wanted to cry with anger and disappointment.
He was the first guy she liked so fast and Vannie was sharing it with her.

She walked away and decided to go breathe fresh air from the park. And again she saw Vannie and Damien. She wanted to go there but she didn't want to hurt Vannie anymore.

She looked away tears filling her eyes and walked away.

Chynna ran to her room and spent the rest of the afternoon there. Nobody was home except her and her younger brother Luis.

Later, she recieved a call from Vannie but she ignored it.

Before six in the afternoon, her brother called her.

"Chynna someone's looking for you!" Luis shouted.

"If it's Vannie, tell her I'm not in the mood to talk!" she yelled back.

"No, it's your boyfriend!" he yelled again.

Boyfriend? What boufriend. It couldn't be Damien, could it? She ran to her mirror and brushed her hair and looked at herself and ran downstairs.

Damien was there on the couch watching Luis play video game.

He looked up and smiled at her surprisingly making her heart melt and feel warm.

"Yeah. I also need to talk to you," Damien said when he looked expectantly on the door and there stood Vannie.

She wore an apologetic smile for Chynna but Chynna only looked at her with shock.

"Chynna..."
