Cathy (boxershiner) | 61 comments After a couple hectic weeks, I plan to get a lot done in the sewing room. I'd gotten 4 quilts back from the machine quilter, and still have 4 of them to bind. The machine portion is done on 3 of those. I've got borders to add to a quilt that I'm making for a friend whose daughter is getting married in Sept. This past week, some friends were in town for the NQA show in Columbus Ohio, They were busy the entire time, but Friday evening I was able to join them. We had a nice dinner and a little show and tell. Then those that attended the show brought out their bags and we oogled and drooled over their purchases. This was the first time I've missed that show since I can remember.
Happy stitching all, may your UFOs be few.

Jaci Worth | 37 comments Hi Cathy! I know the feeling about not having anytime to sew! This month has just flown by and I can't believe that it's almost July! The next project that I will be working on will be a quilt that I started at my Aunt Judy's (also member of this group) about three years ago. All the blocks are sewn together, now I just need to quilt it. I have an idea as to what I'm going to do, which is to do "x's" in parts of the blocks and then stars in at least one square of each block. The stars are going to be what I refer to as country stars. They aren't quite symmetrical and a little of balance...if that makes sense. It shouldn't take too long to finish, I just need to get some time!!
