How do you feel about the Magnus and Alex relationship after city do lost souls?

To be honest, I hate alex after considering changing Magnus immortal, but Magnus shouldn't have broken it off. I liked their relationship more than anyone else's, and I was devastated when I read that Magnus called it off

I think it was the hardest part of the book ending to be honest. The Clary and Jace thing was ok, but less of a concern for me.
i was like...devastated! i literally cried while reading it,funny coz my dad suddenly opened my door to ask something and he was suddenly worried seeing her daughter crying like shit he said "what's wrong?" i was like *CRY* *SOB* "WHYYYY?! THIS CANT BE?! dad they broke up!! they really did broke up?!!!"!! i can't get over with the break up scene so i wrote a song about it...it's called "OVER"! i was so emotional while writing this song...
Wow... I kind of thought I was the only one who felt this way! I definately shipped this OTP more than Clary and Jace... Magnus had been my favorite character the whole series! I cried my eyes out when Alec and Magnus broke up... I just started reading CoHF, and I am sooo hoping they get back together!!! I just keep playing the end over in my head... "It means I love you... Not that it changes anything... leave your key on the table..." WHYYY?!?!
