Hey everyone!

So I'm adding another part to this book club. Because we won't be officially starting with a book for another two weeks, and because some people might not be able to finish the book we have some months, or because they may have already read the book, I am starting a short story section!

Every two weeks, I'll pick a short story, then I'll post some discussion questions about it. I'll be picking the short story (it won't be a poll) just to save time, but if you have any requests, you can leave them in the suggestion box or message me. :)

The first discussion thread will be posted soon.

Tachi I've downloaded it and I can't wait to sit down and get to read it. I've read the first few sentences and I enjoy the writing style and voice.

Katherine (katheranne) | 20 comments Ooh I'm excited by this b/c I don't read short stories nearly often enough. That and the time constraint thing!

The Small Assassin by Ray Bradbury (literally the creepiest thing I've ever read)
Also, Mark Twain, Flannery O'Connor, Ernest Hemingway, Roald Dahl, or James Thurber?

Jennifer Anything Poe.
The Body- Stephen King (the movie Stand By Me is based on this short story)
The Necklace- Guy de Maupassant
Where Are You Going, Where Have You Been- Joyce Carol Oates
