I didnt understand your comment...do you like Adam or warner?
I don't think the sole purpose of this novella is to make people like Adam more...

I dont know...its not that I dont like Adam, I just felt less connected with him on the second book and the same way the warner POV made me hate him less, I was hoping this Adam POV could made me connected with him again, but, I couldn't resist and I read tbe spoiler above and I dont know if it will be possible. Lets see...what I honestly am anxious is for tbe third book, I think our Juliet will be very difficult on the third book.

I like Warner, but I mean the way the novella is written isn't exactly pro-Adam. Like Destroy Me seemed like ultimately it was trying to get us to sympathize with Warner and see him as more than he was in Shatter Me, but Fracture Me feels like it's getting us to realize how wrong Adam is for Juliette.
I didn't think it was very subtle and I think you might have to read it to get what I mean. It has very little of Adam's actual thoughts and backstory. It's shorter than Destroy Me and has way less substance.

I didn't read but I think I know what you mean...I noticed at the second novel Adam its weird, not giving enough attention to Juliet and at the end she is pretty different too, promising that everything will change, after reading warner POV I started to put the pieces together and think that maybe the author was trying to soft warner a little so we get used to the ideia of him and Juliet end up together. ..after I read the spoiler about the fracture me ( because I couldn't control my fingers) I think that I am going on the right direction.
Tahereh Mafi clearly spent much more time developing Warner's character and adding a lot of depth to him and such. She wanted to change the way he was viewed, as a bad guy in the beginning, but slowly becoming a better person until people could see the "good guy" underneath.
Fracture Me just shows what happened in the latter part of Unravel Me (I think) from Adam's POV, not to make Adam more or less likable, just to show what happens from that side

I mean I was kind of shocked at how little he seemed to care when Juliette got taken by Anderson, Adam said he didn't plan to go out there again, out there to look for Juliette. Kenji had to talk him into it. He seems to think Juliette is very meek and naive and innocent and uncapable of doing harm to anyone. He sees her as a weak link and someone who needs constant protecting.

If you didn't like the Fallen series from Lauren kate, dont ever try Teardrop (the new series)
@Hannah...his lack of care for her surprised me too. I can understand wanting to help his brother, of course I can, but it seemed odd for him not to want to help her right away. He was confused about his feelings about her because she broke up with him and he was hurt so he didn't know who to put first. And I don't think its so much as him thinking she's a weak link, it's just he cares about her and doesn't want her to face certain things because he knows how bad/damaging they can be.

This is why I ultimately think Warner is the right person for Juliette, he's the one who believes in her strength and her ability to take care of herself. He knows what she's been through, knows the horrors that she's already lived and he knows how strong she is and how she can harness that along with her ability to really make a positive difference in the world. She just needed the motivation to do it. I don't know, it was just the way Adam thought about Juliette that was so weird to me, all through reading the series I never doubted that he loved her but now I'm not so sure. Even after James was relatively safe Adam didn't want to go look for Juliette, and when he found out she was 'dead' Kenji was more upset than he was.

I completely agree! When shes with Adam, She hides behind him but when shes with Warner, she stands up and fights for herself. Being with Warner makes her a stronger person and she can relate to him more than Adam (i think).

Thats why I think the author is trying to softt us to make Juliet ende up with warner.

I still think there's more to learn about Adam, and I know Tahereh said she didn't initially want to do an Adam novella because she didn't want to give too much away before IM. Now more than ever I feel like he might be hiding something, but I have no idea what it could be. I also would like to find out what the real meaning of that damn bird is.

Yea I mean I get that the title Fracture Me was kind of inferring to Adam's struggle to choose between Juliette and James, but there was never a choice, was there? I mean I can never blame him for choosing to save James, because I have a little brother who's ten years younger than me and I honestly don't think I could choose anyone over him, but I think the point was that he didn't even seem torn about it? It just seemed like he didn't care that much what happened to her. He just assumes Warner is the one who took her, and then assumes she'll be safe because Warner won't hurt her. But then he's always saying how Warner is ruthless and psychotic?
It doesn't make sense to me, there are so many contradictions with the things he says vs. his actions. I don't know about anyone else but if I had saved my brother, gotten him to a safe place surrounded by people who could protect him, I would be out there in a second looking for the person I'm in love with. But I don't think the reason Juliette and Adam are wrong for each other is because he'll never choose her over James, it's because of how he perceives her as a person.
Their whole love story is based off perception. He has an idea in his head of who Juliette is and every time she does something to shatter that image he acts all shocked like he had no idea that part of her existed. Because he doesn't actually know her, and I think this novella proved Juliette doesn't actually know him either.

Your Welcome:)
Your Welcome:)

I know there's going to be a physical version called Unite Me that'll have both novellas (Destroy Me and Fracture Me) in it as well as Juliette's journal entries. That comes out the same day as Ignite Me. So I guess it'd be up to you if it's worth it or if you just wanted to wait for Unite Me to come out.
