The Laslas Fanatics firstly created early this year - being brought about by the girls who wanted to see the sentiments of the suicidal tendencies / episode.

In this Christmas season where everything is about warm hugs and loved-ones, we are to take a journey - our own adventure to wallow in the bitterness and immerse in loneliness and #foreveralone escapades.

Beware. Readers and/or lurkers who are in the state of bitterness may come here and contribute their takes.

Please be gentle with them.

Everyone is welcome to put their inputs or share their own versions we shed off those sugar-coated parts of romance and slice the raw onions of reality.

Well, actually, it's true. When I was heartbroken, I maintained a blog where I write all the fcking hurt I've been through. Pero dinelete ko na kasi whenever I read it, naaalala ko and I'm annoyed with myself na masyado akong OA.

So I didn't really start this yet kasi I finished another (happier) book kagabi. Tignan ko muna kung may time ako ituloy today. (Sinabayan ko ng Will Grayson Will Grayson eh, so dun natatawa ako :P)

On another note, Tricia! Haha ang nag-iisang Tegan and Sara sa phone ko ay Call It Off. I played it again when I saw you mention them and...well. Haha.

Ella: I remember writing in my journal a lot nung college, and I was really sad about a guy nun. I think people do write (or make) the most beautiful things when they're heartbroken. It's a form of release, and there's something about making something when you feel like all you have is nothing. I still have journals and (secret) blogs (and at one point, a secret Twitter account, haha) of all those things. Sometimes I read them when I feel sad, but when it's one of those old, old posts, I can barely remember why I even felt that.

It's christmas eve, and maybe we can halt this - magpakasaya muna. Happy christmas! :)

If my ebook copy is accurate, I am now on Chapter 7, and I am torn between hating this then stop reading it, and hating this, continuously reading it then remind myself of my "pbbteens" drama (sans a specific guy in my memory).

So I finished the book kanina and...(view spoiler)[I actually liked it. It was strangely cathartic, actually, and after I read that part about the note, I stopped having the urge to throw the book away. It was sad, and frustrating at times, (view spoiler)[especially since I can't seem to see what made Ed so bad, until the very end and then I wanted to punch him on the face, too. (hide spoiler)] He seemed like (view spoiler)[such a nice guy, but I guess when nice guys try to be too nice, they end up being jerks. *shakes fist* (hide spoiler)]

But I think my most favorite part of the book is (view spoiler)[how Min's friends, especially Al, stood by her when things start falling apart. Medyo may pagka-telenovela lang yung side ni Al, but I liked how he's such a faithful friend, and how they all stuck together to help Min. Sabi nga ng friend ko one time, in times of heartbreak, what you really need is a good set of friends. :) (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)].

Although I don't think I'd do what Min did and return items. I'd rather throw them away. Or burn them. (view spoiler)[But I would probably write a very sappy letter, because. Haha. (hide spoiler)]

Actually, I am not done with the novel kasi I am in exact sentiment that Anna had previously - torn between throwing the book and not finishing it, or read and rant (in silence, since I am trying my best not to rant anywhere). Hormonal, I guess?

(view spoiler)[Yeah, I guess there is some sort of release...it's like how you watch a weepy movie and even if you can't completely relate to it, you end up crying and somehow after you felt better? Parang ganun. I didn't cry naman. But somehow reading/finding out how Ed and Min's relationship ended, and what Min did to release herself from all of it, and what her friends did resonated with me, and it almost felt like I was living through Min. Oh, but I think the ending really helped, with her friends. So maybe if the ending was different, I wouldn't have felt nicer to the book. XD (hide spoiler)]

Ella: A little disclaimer -- (view spoiler)[what Min's friends did wasn't really grand, just very nice. :) It hit close to home because it's something some of my closest friends do for each other several times whoever is in the heartbroken boat. Hehe, baka lang mapa-expect kayo ng onti na may sobrang special. ^^; I thought it was really, really nice, especially after how Min's world revolved around Ed for a while. (hide spoiler)]

As for your question...(view spoiler)[I've never been in a break-up (view spoiler)[(meron lang semi-break-up feels minsan haha) (hide spoiler)], but I have burned stuff. It was very satisfying. Haha. I haven't returned things because there's none to return, and kung meron man...bakit ko ibabalik, unless it wasn't given as a gift? XD The most I did was throw away stuff, delete messages and all that jazz. For the bigger gifts (like, this soccer ball na binigay ng crush ko dati), I gave it away lang when I donated some stuff. The throwing away and the deleting is healing, imho, but only when I did it for myself, not because someone told me I should do it. Kinda like how Min took her time to give all the stuff back to Ed - mas may effect when she was more willing to do it for herself. (hide spoiler)]
