I'm Little Confused About Something

I noticed the same thing when I was rereading it a month ago, but I dismissed it as a mistake. I never thought about them becoming immortal or them being considered dead. That's a very interesting theory.

I'd like to share a theory, feel free to tell me how stupid it is ;)
James Herondale
I was looking at the tarot card art Cassandra Jean made and I came across Tessa and Will's children, James and Lucie. Lucie had blue eyes, unmistakably inherited from Will, but James had amber colored eyes. Obviously Tessa doesn't have that eye color, and I don't remember anything ever mentioning amber eyes in the Herondale family (besides Jace of course, but that's much farther into the future.)
I flipped through some other art and I found a picture of Magnus with almost the same eye color, but we all know his cat eyes are his warlock mark. So then I thought about Tessa and how the closest thing she is is to a warlock. She doesn't have a warlock mark though, but she is immortal. Maybe, she passed on a warlock trait she was possessing in her genetic code on to James, and his eyes are that of a warlocks mark. But we know he's most likely mortal and a shadowhunter so...I'm probably looking too much into this. He might just have amber eyes passed down from a couple generations. Yeah, that's probably it.

Me too haha it would be interesting.

Do you know what TLH and TWP stand for?

And I didn't know there was going to be a TWP series. Does anyone knows when does it takes place?
Cassie said it was going to be far into the future. Don't know if she meant the books going to be published very far into the future or were all going to get a futuristic shadowhunter series. That would kind of be awesome.
TWP stands for The Wicked Powers.
TWP stands for The Wicked Powers.

The family tree came in the first copies of Clockwork Princess, but you can find it on the internet.

I don't see it like that. I understand that it just doesn't tell the whole story of the events of TLH. Like, the two Lightwood girls probably became downworlders, that's why they're 'dead' according to it. And some characters may have gotten married with people they don't actually love - but maybe they had a story with these other people before they got married. And those who are married actually got married to those they're married to - but maybe they haven't had the kids with their husbands.
There are endless theories, but I do think the Family Tree shows us some truth, just not all of it.
About the girls that are "dead"- Cassie said on family trees, they didn't put in the girls because they would marry on and not carry the family name. A little bit sexist, but yeah.

TLH The Last Hours TWP The Wicked Powers like in the shadowhunter children rhyme

kinda like what i said :) tho i'd like to clarify that cassie didn't really say that it's rubbish

Did anyone notice in The Clockwork Princess that when Tessa is in the cave with Mortmain she is remembering the people she loves...
"She thought of Charlotte, who wept over Jessamine's death, though Jessie had betrayed her..."
Jessamine passes away and Charlotte weeps over her on page 213. Tessa was taken by the automaton and Mrs. Black on page 207/208. So there's no way she could have known about Jessamine dying or Charlotte weeping??
Am I missing something or is it just a mistake?

"...their nieces and nephews-Cecy's blue-eyed boys, tall and handsome, and Gideon and Sophie's two girls..."
Problem is: the two girls are already dead by the time Will died (according to the family three). So... how the f*** are they there?
(Just to keep it noted: Will died in 1937, Barbara Lightwood died in 1917 and Eugenia Lightwood died in 1930)
What I want o know is if Cassandra made a mistake there or if there's something else to it (like, I don't know, the girls became vampires or werewolves and were considered 'dead' by the Clave).
So what do you guys know or think about that?
(Forgive me if there's anything wrong, my native language is not english).
