My novel got released on the 20th November this year and I would love it if some of you would like to give me your honest feed back. I can send you an e-copy for ratings. If you can post it on here, amazon and barnes and noble that would be awesome. Just leave me a comment with your email and preferred e-copy and I'll send you one. My aim with book one is to get the series out there, I can worry about selling it later. hehe

Small discription
Dragons. Right. Teenage girls don’t believe in fairy tales, and sixteen-year old Elena Watkins was no different.
Until the night a fairy tale killed her father.
Now Elena’s in a new world, and a new school. The cutest guy around may be an evil dragon, a Prince wants Elena’s heart, and a long dead sorcerer may be waking up to kill her. Oh. And the only way Elena’s going to graduate is on the back of a dragon of her own.
Teenage girls don’t believe in fairy tales. Now it’s time for Elena to believe – in herself.

I was never someone who posted reviews in the past, but after publishing Ben the Dragonborn in November, I realize that it is important to writers. I bought Firebolt and will read and review it when I have time. No strings attached.

I know exactly what you mean by the no strings attached. I'm helping other authors through my blog of getting noticed and with virtual tours and I like to do reviews for most of them. The problem with that is I have a set date and my rating must be above 3 as it's a virtual tour. Not that I like to give out small ratings, if I enjoy a book, the rating will always be high but then I usually add what I didn't like about the book. As an author I would like to know where to grow, although those reviews aren't always easy to read, I learn a lot from them.

The reason I say no strings attached is I have become aware of the practice of authors swapping reviews and giving each other an automatic 5 stars. It was very tempting to do that, but I decided I would rather have real reviews and earn my stars the risky way.

Dianne, I understand what you mean. I don't like doing that too, and you do feel sort of obligated to give a high rating. However, I really want only your honest opinion. I won't dislike you or anything if you give me a rating other than 5/4. I've got plenty of the other ratings as well and some of them ended up becoming my friends. I really do appreciate all my reviews, whether it's positive or negative, because in my eyes there is no such thing as a bad review. Reviews are the best to grow from as an author and I've learn so much from mine. What to do, what not to do, what they like etc.
So I promise, I would appreciate yours too, no matter what it says.

My apologies for taking so long for a review. I actually finished the book a couple of weeks ago. My current WIP and publisher's deadline has taken a great deal of my time. I enjoyed the book. Good job. I also posted the same review on Amazon.

Thanks Marc. Firebolt 3rd edition and Thunderlight will both come out the same date, Planning on November 22. My cover reveal will be in the next couple of months. So far it looks great I can't wait to see the final product.
