What I loved about this book was the 'bookstore romance' aspect. I mean by that how the relationship started through the red notebook and grew from there. What I mostly remember from reading this book is how invested I became in the characters, and the word 'fanciful'.
Has anyone read it?
Has anyone read it?

What do you think about the cover? I'm terrible with judging a book by its cover, but I don't mind this one, I think it echoes the setting within the book so you are able to escape into the story a little bit more, but that's just me.
(The one with the name in the street signs, I'm unsure if there is other editions)

I found a review of the book where the person really didn't like the main characters. This is part of what she wrote....
However, Lily was annoying. She was really immature. Maybe that was the authors' idea of being realistic, as she was a 16 year old girl, and all the ones I run into these days are amazingly annoying. But after reading many other books with female protagonists of the same age who are not annoying, it was really blatant and something I couldn't get past.
Also, Dash was kind of a dick. I assume more realism, as most 16 year old boys are dicks, but it was weird that they ended up liking each other so much, because their personality in the notebook was so different from their personalities irl.
- Would you say you agree or disagree?
